It’s Miller time!
Kolton Miller has signed a three-year extension with the Las Vegas Raiders. The deal is worth $66M, with $42.5M guaranteed, per ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler.
Franchise Left Tackle
The Raiders selected Kolton Miller 15th overall in the 2018 NFL draft. After a rough rookie season, in which he allowed a league-worst 16 sacks, Miller has developed into one of the league’s best offensive tackles.
Since 2021, Miller has recorded at least an 80.0 PFF grade. Last season, Miller ranked 11th among all offensive tackles in the NFL with an 82.2 PFF pass blocking grade.
Kolton Miller has appeared in 109 games and has played over 7,000 snaps for the franchise. The veteran left tackle has been durable throughout his NFL career, having only missed a total of seven regular-season games since entering the league.
“I’m a Raider, Oakland Raider
From the Bay to L.A. to Las Vegas” – Luniz
The 6-foot-8, 325-pound offensive tackle is currently the longest-tenured player on the Raiders. “I’m so glad to be a Raider. Like I said, I want to be a Raider for life. I’m living it and I’m happy to get back to work.” Kolton Miller said to the media after signing his contract extension.
Miller is one of four “Oakland Raiders” left on this roster. The others include pass rusher Maxx Crosby, punter A.J. Cole, and kicker Daniel Carlson. All of them dealt with the move from Oakland to Las Vegas. Each has experienced significant turnover throughout their Raider careers.
Despite the ongoing challenges faced by the franchise, Maxx Crosby, A.J. Cole, and Kolton Miller have all inked extensions with the Raiders in 2025. Is Daniel Carlson next?
Moreover, it’s a testament to Head Coach Pete Carroll and General Manager John Spytek. The players are buying into the new regime.
