Official Rules – Fantasy Football Playoff Challenge Contest Rules

The Fantasy Football Playoff Challenge (“Contest”) is a skill-based fantasy sports competition hosted by Blitz Sports Media LLC (“Sponsor”). By entering, each participant (“Entrant”) agrees to these Official Rules and all decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.

1. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry
  • Void where prohibited by law
  • Sponsor may refuse entry or disqualify any Entrant for violations of these rules or improper conduct

2. Contest Overview

  • This is a multi-week fantasy football contest that runs throughout the NFL Playoffs.
  • Entrants set their own fantasy lineups each playoff week through the Sponsor’s website lineup builder.
  • Weekly points accumulate to determine overall standings (unless otherwise displayed on the Contest page).
  • Results are determined by fantasy scoring based on real NFL player performance.

This Contest is intended to be a skill-based competition and is not a sportsbook, wagering, or betting service.

3. Entry Fee, Administrative Fee, and Prize Pool

  • Entry Fee: $25 per entry
  • Administrative Fee: Sponsor retains 20% of each paid entry fee for operational and administrative costs
  • Prize Pool: The remaining 80% of total paid entry fees constitutes the prize pool (“Prize Pool”)

Entry fees are non-refundable once the Contest begins.

4. Prize Pool Distribution (80% of Total Entry Fees)

The Prize Pool (80% of total paid entry fees) will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st Place: 55% of the Prize Pool
  • 2nd Place: 10% of the Prize Pool
  • 3rd Place: 5% of the Prize Pool
  • 4th Place: 2.5% of the Prize Pool
  • 5th Place: 2.5% of the Prize Pool
  • 6th–10th Place: 1% of the Prize Pool (each)

Sponsor may require identity confirmation and tax documentation where applicable. All prize payments are subject to eligibility verification.

5. Lineups, Locking, and Roster Management

  • Entrants are responsible for submitting lineups before the posted lock time(s) for each playoff week.
  • Once a player’s game begins, that player is locked and cannot be swapped.
  • Failure to submit a valid lineup by lock may result in a score of zero for any unfilled slot(s), as determined by the lineup system.

6. Scoring Format (PPR)

Scoring uses a standard PPR format and is calculated as follows (rounded to 2 decimals):

Passing
  • 0.04 points per passing yard (1 point per 25 yards)
  • 4 points per passing TD
  • -2 points per interception
Rushing
  • 0.1 points per rushing yard (1 point per 10 yards)
  • 6 points per rushing TD
Receiving
  • 1 point per reception
  • 0.1 points per receiving yard (1 point per 10 yards)
  • 6 points per receiving TD
Turnovers
  • -2 points per fumble lost

The Contest’s live scoring display is provided for convenience. Final results are subject to stat verification (see Section 7).

7. Official Statistics & Verification (FantasyData)

  • All player stats used for scoring will be verified and backed up using FantasyData.
  • If there is a discrepancy, data delay, or correction, Sponsor will use FantasyData’s published/stat-corrected results as the authoritative reference.
  • Stat corrections may adjust weekly and overall standings.

8. Tiebreakers

If two or more Entrants are tied in overall points at the conclusion of the Contest, tiebreakers will be applied in this order:

  1. Highest score in the final playoff week of the Contest
  2. Highest single-week score at any point during the Contest
  3. Earliest original Contest entry timestamp (first paid entry submitted)

Sponsor’s determination is final.

9. Fair Play / Prohibited Conduct

Entrants may not:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automation to enter or manage lineups
  • Collude or engage in coordinated play intended to manipulate outcomes
  • Abuse site features, exploit scoring, or attempt to circumvent locks

Sponsor may disqualify Entrants and/or void entries for violations.

10. Prize Notification & Payment

  • Winners will be contacted via the email associated with their website account.
  • Payouts are issued after the Contest concludes and stats are finalized.
  • Entrants are solely responsible for any applicable taxes.
  • There are NO REFUNDS

11. Limitation of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Site downtime, technical errors, or connectivity issues
  • Data feed interruptions or display inaccuracies
  • Stat corrections or delayed official reporting

By entering, Entrants agree to release Sponsor from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
