Buffalo Signs CB Dee Alford

The Buffalo Bills continue to reshape the team’s image under first-year Head Coach Joe Brady. The Bills are signing Dee Alford after agreeing to terms on a three-year deal worth up to $21M with $10.12M guaranteed.

About Our New CB

Cornerback Dee Alford has quietly developed into a productive defensive back over his time in the NFL. In four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Alford appeared in more than 60 games while recording over 200 total tackles, 37 passes defended, and 4 interceptions. Primarily operating as a nickel corner, Alford has shown the ability to contribute in coverage while also being a reliable tackler in run support. His most productive season came in 2024 when he posted around 80 tackles and 11 pass breakups, proving he can handle an increased role in the secondary.

Buffalo was slower than some teams in acquiring its first free agent, Dee Alford, but it is a tremendous signing that gives the Bills’ secondary some much-needed depth. The team recently released DBs Taron Johnson and Dane Jackson, so it only makes sense that they were in the market for some depth.
