This is the make or break time for getting your Defensive Streamers correct.
One wrong pick can send you home from the fantasy football playoffs. So it’s important to pick the streamer with a solid floor but upside to put you over the top.
And if you are in a 10- or 12-person league, I believe you need two defenses going into the playoffs.
Let’s get into the Week 14 plays!
Defensive Streamers
Tennessee at Cleveland
For the first time this season, I’m going to suggest both teams from the same game.
This is a battle of the two worst offenses in the league. Cleveland is ranked 31st with 258.0 yards a game this season, while Tennessee is ranked 32nd with 242.4 yards a game.
And both teams are bottom 5 offenses in their last three games.
The Browns obviously have the better defense with Myles Garrett chasing the single season sack record. He currently has 19 sacks and the record is 22.5, held by Michael Strahan (2001) and T.J. Watt (2021).
Garrett leads a defense is ranked second in yards allowed this season at 271.3 yards a game.
The Titans are not has highly ranked for the season but have only given up 313.3 yards a game in their last three contests and have recorded 8 sacks since their Week 10 bye.
The game also has an insanely low total at 33.5 points.

Tampa Bay home against New Orleans
The Buccaneers defense has hovered in the middle of the road most of the season and are currently ranked 22nd in yards a game at 344.9. But it’s their run defense that keeps it from a bottom 5 defense.
Tampa Bay only gives up 97.4 rushing yards a game this season which is 6th in the NFL.
The Saints have struggled on the road passing the ball and only average 194.8 passing yards a game on the road this season.
And the Buccaneers pass defense is much better at home. Tampa Bay only gives up 227.2 passing a game at Raymond James Stadium while giving up 262.0 passing yards on the road.
The two teams met in Week 8 and Bucs defense shut down the Saints offense. Tampa Bay forced 4 turnovers, recorded 5 sacks and limited New Orleans to only 3 points.
Philadelphia at LA Chargers
This choice could be a complete miss as the two teams have combined to average 54.5 points a game in their last four meetings.
But this year’s game only has a total of 40.5 so I’m going to say the Philly defense is definitely in play.
The Eagles have struggled recently on defense but they haven’t struggled as bad as the Chargers offense. Los Angeles has averaged 263.3 yard game in its last three contests.
Season-ending injuries to tackles Rashawn Slater (torn patella tendon) and Joe Alt (high ankle sprain requiring surgery) has slowed the Chargers’ pass protection and run blocking. Slater has missed the whole season and Alt suffered his injury in Week 9 against Tennessee.
The Eagles have 8 sacks since their Week 9 bye and have recorded 6 turnovers during the same stretch.
