Opening Night – Wednesday, March 25th, 2026
New York Yankees @ San Francisco Giants – 8:05 PM EST – Netflix
The season opens today with the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. This will be a great first game of the season, with a beautiful backdrop at Oracle Park. The pitching matchup will be Max Fried vs. Logan Webb, a true Ace vs. Ace matchup. This will be the first game under the new, more segmented TV deal for Major League Baseball. They could really use a hot start, as baseball fans are extremely sedentary when it comes to their viewing schedule. Matt Vasgersian will be on the call, providing a big-game feel, and Hunter Pence, along with C.C. Sabathia, will provide each team with a familiar voice.
Opening Day – Thursday, March 26, 2026
Pittsburgh Pirates @ New York Mets – 1:15 PM EST – NBC/Peacock
Is it Opening Day or Paul Skenes’ Day? The revamped Pittsburgh Pirates kick off Opening Day against the New-Look New York Mets. I am very intrigued to see both of these teams, as all around the diamond, there are new players in new spots. Mets fans will be anxious to see their team without Pete Alonso on Opening Day in nearly a decade. They are hoping that void will be filled early, but Paul Skenes may have something to say about that. He looked phenomenal for Team USA this spring. However, the Mets now have their own ace to brag about in Freddy Peralta. This should be a great game to kick off the MLB on NBC and Peacock era.
Arizona Diamondbacks @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 8:30 PM EST – NBC/Peacock
The second national game on NBC and Peacock is the Arizona Diamondbacks headed down to Chavez Ravine to take on the back-to-back World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The Diamondbacks Ace Zac Gallen looks to turn things around in his second go at a contract year, but that will not be easy, as he has to face the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup with the addition of Kyle Tucker. Yoshinobu Yamamoto will face the Arizona Diamondbacks and Corbin Carroll. Hopefully, we will see the stars in action on Thursday night on NBC and Peacock

Los Angeles Angels @ Houston Astros – 8:15 PM EST – Apple TV
Friday Night’s games are once again on Apple TV. Apple will be heading into its 5th season doing Major League Baseball games. It has surely come a long way. Wayne Randazzo and Dontrelle Willis will be on the call to watch one of this generation’s best in Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels take on one of this generation’s best teams in the Houston Astros and Jose Altuve. The Angels will have Yusei Kikuchi on the mound, backing up a solid season for the Halos, and the Astros will have newly acquired pitcher Mike Burrows on the bump. This should shape up to be a great game with these two starters on the hill.
Cleveland Guardians @ Seattle Mariners – 9:45 PM EST – Apple TV
Apple TV will have a second game’s first pitch about an hour and a half after the Angels and Astros play. This second game will be commented on by Alex Faust and Ryan Spilborghs. The Cleveland Guardians will take on the Seattle Mariners. Young Stud Gavin Williams will take the pill for the Guardians as he looks to build off of a strong 2025, and the Mariners will put out one of the best pitchers in the game in Bryan Woo. I am very excited to see this Mariners lineup and the new-look Cleveland Guardians team, who will always have the benefit of the doubt.

New York Yankees @ San Francisco Giants – 7:15 PM EST – FOX
The New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants will headline FOX’s first MLB game of the season as each team wraps up its first series of the season. The Yankees will have Will Warren, who has had an unbelievable Spring Training and a very strong 2025, take on Tyler Mahle, coming off an incredible season with the Texas Rangers. Should be a fun one in the Bay Area.
Kansas City Royals @ Atlanta Braves – 7:15 PM EST – FOX
The first national spotlight for the Kansas City Royals and Atlanta Braves of the 2026 season will also be on FOX at the same time for other viewers. The Royals have so much potential, and Vinnie Pasquantino just added to it with his WBC performance for Team Italy. The Atlanta Braves look to bounce back after an injury-rittled 2025 season with vengeance. Reynaldo Lopez will take the ball for Atlanta in this game, and veteran Michael Wacha will do the same for Kansas City.
Sunday, March 29th, 2026
Cleveland Guardians @ Seattle Mariners – 7:20 PM EST – Peacock
For 36 years, Sunday Night Baseball was on ESPN, but no more after the 2025 season. It is Peacock’s turn to show us what they have. It will be our second national look at both the Cleveland Guardians and Seattle Mariners. This should be a fun watch again, as these teams play entertaining brands of baseball. Potential breakout Joey Cantillo will be the Guardians pitcher, and the efficient assassin George Kirby will take the ball, looking to continue the successs he had in 2026.
Baseball is back, everyone, so enjoy this weekend full of games. This is the best time of the year, and the only thing holding us back from consuming it is not knowing the locations of the new TV Schedule, so here you go!
