Welcome to NFL Week 14 Must Sit! This week is so important that we have to be careful, as this week can make or break our fantasy season. Some of these players you may have to start, but keep your expectations low. Shoot for the stars in this do-or-die week to make the playoffs, lock up that bye, or fight for the seed we need.
Omarion Hampton
Omarion Hampton has been absent from the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense since Week 6, and I recommend you keep him out in Week 14. The odds of Hampton getting you into your fantasy playoffs for a do-or-die shot at the playoffs are not extremely high. Now, if you have no other option (Like a safe play for 10 points), then give it a shot. I would rather my fantasy team die with him in the starting lineup than Emari Demarcado or Bam Knight. In all honesty, you may have to play him this week, but I would set your expectations low because we do not know what the work split will look like with Kimani Vidal as he eases his way back in. The Philadelphia Eagles have been struggling of late, but stil are a productive front seven.
Woody Marks
Woody Marks’ snap percentage has steadily climbed over the past 4 weeks. Peaking in week 10 with an 80% takeover, but his production has been middle of the road since then. Now his opportunity has been extremely exciting, which is what I would chase for him, but this week I would give him a seat on the bench if you can. He has an extremely tough matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, and both teams are fighting for their playoff lives. It should be a slugfest. Bench him if you can.
Brian Thomas Jr.
I have boycotted Brian Thomas Jr.’s name in any of my articles because of how frustrated I have been with him and his disappointing season thus far. He is ranked as the WR 30 in Half-PPR settings. He came back against the Titans to a tune of two receptions and 28 yards because of the turn of his sophomore sump has only gotten worse this second half. I see absolutely zero upsides with starting him, considering he has had one game above 15 points and two total games above 10 points. Jakobi Meyers should be the WR1 for the rest of 2025 in Jacksonville.
Jordan Addison
Jordan Addison is unstartable and arguably Justin Jefferson as well, but at the same time, you cannot sit Justin Jefferson. Jordan Addison is a casualty of J.J. McCarthy and his backup being absolutely horrendous. It is sad to see that of his first three games that he played with Carson Wentz were absolutely amazing, and his late-round drafters thought that they had a steal, but J.J. McCarthy has ruined it for all owners.
Chris Rodriguez Jr.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. has been a nice surprise that got picked up over the waiver wire the last couple of weeks. He has had about 10 fantasy points each week as his snap percentage has slowly grown over 40%. He also scored a touchdown against the Denver Broncos. He has a favorable schedule, but there are three running backs in the backfield, and he is the one who gets over 8 rush attempts per game.
