RBC Heritage Betting Guide: Bets to Win and Top 20 finishes

RBC Heritage Betting Guide Top Plays

It’s nice to get back to some winning ways with my Betting Guide.

It may have not been a big win, but it’s a win like these that keep your season going.

Rory McIlroy survived his weekend after blowing a 6-shot lead after the second round to claim his second straight Green Jacket with his Masters 1-shot victory over Scottie Scheffler.

Rory paid off his 11.75-to-1 odds.

This week is a signature event as the PGA Tour heads to Harbour Town Golf Links for the RBC Heritage. Justin Thomas is the defending champion.

This week’s event does not have a cut, so don’t get too excited after a couple of good rounds with so many elite golfers playing this week.

Let’s get into this week’s top plays!

Betting Guide: Bets to Win

Matt Fitzpatrick (+1700 on DraftKings)

Harbour Town can be sticky with its course history and Fitzpatrick loves this course.

We all heard the stories of the Fitzpatrick family visiting Harbour Town to come watch the tournament.

Now, Fitzpatrick will play this event for 10 straight years and has a victory and 7 Top 40 finishes in his first 9 events.

He comes into this week’s event with 8 Top 25 rankings in 11 categories I used for my spreadsheet.

He’s familiar, he’s a past champion and he’s in decent form – I’ll take those for a Bet to Win.

Akshay Bhatia (+6000 on DraftKings)

Bhatia missed the cut at The Masters but his form this season is a perfect match for Harbour Town.

His betting number reflects his volatility but his game brings Top 10 shots gained: Approach numbers and Top 10 putting, both crucial to bring home the tartan coat.

And he’s has shown the ability to win a signature event, winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month.

Ryo Hisatsune (+8800 on DraftKings)

Hisatsune will be a PGA Tour winner this season, but his lack of putting together four great rounds together for one tournament have eluded him.

And like Bhatia, he has a strong approach game, ranked 18th in shots gained: Approach, but he’s ranked 1st in greens in regulation, another strong stat to be successful at Harbour Town.

He doesn’t have to overpower the course which leads into Hisatsune’s strengths.

Top 20 with ties

Sudarshan Yellamaraju (+240 on DraftKings): The rookie has rattled three straight Top 20 finishes, including T5 at THE PLAYERS Championship. So why should he stop now?

Austin Smotherman (+335 on DraftKings): Smotherman has been playing some of his best golf on the PGA Tour this season. His elite approach game should bode well over 4 rounds at Harbour Town.

One and Done

Xander Schauffele: Xander made be one having one of the quietest top seasons on the PGA Tour in 2026. He has four Top 10s in his last five events, and he has three straight Top 20 finishes at the RBC Heritage.
