Each week of the 2025 NFL season delivers critical usage shifts that can make or break your fantasy football lineup, with snap counts, touches, and targets revealing emerging stars and changing roles. From running backs seizing workhorse duties to wide receivers and tight ends capitalizing on new opportunities, we break down 6-8 notable risers per position to guide your roster decisions and waiver wire moves.

Check out last week’s report: Week 9 Usage Report

Running Backs

  • Woody Marks (HOU): Full takeover – 80.8% snaps (up from <50%), started every drive, 80.8% early-down / 70% third-down snaps. 17 touches + TD. Strong RB2 going forward
  • Rico Dowdle (CAR): Even more dominant – 79.2% snaps (↑ from 72.4%), now primary 3rd-down back (9/11 snaps). 21 touches, TD. Has entered RB1 territory
  • Aaron Jones Sr. (MIN): Season-high 70.8% snaps (↑ from ~47% avg), 18/24 first-half snaps. Mason is down to 25%. Jones’ value is rising with his increased workload
  • Commanders RBs: Washington went with a three-back committee featuring Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Chris Rodriguez on early downs, while Jeremy McNichols was the primary 3rd down back. Makes none of them usable in fantasy.
  • Dylan Sampson (CLE): Third-down takeover – 6/11 3rd-down snaps (↑ from <30%). Only 3 touches, but now top handcuff to Quinshon Judkins
  • Nick Chubb (HOU): Reduced to 13% snaps despite 9.4 YPC. Mark’s emergence makes Chubb droppable in normal formats
  • Blake Corum (LAR): Strong handcuff to own for Kyren Williams as McVay works closer towards a 65/35 backfield split. Corum had 13 carries for 56 yards in Week 10.
  • Tyler Allgeier (ATL): Allgeier vultured five red zone touches to Bijan Robinson’s 1 touch. This is something to monitor, but if Allgeier has won more short-yardage snaps, he has to be added off waivers.
  • Bears Backfield Split: Chicago played D’Andre Swift 62% of snaps and played Monangai 38% of snaps despite his breakout performance in Week 9. Expect a similar split the rest of the season.
  • Giants backfield notes: Tyrone Tracy played 67% of snaps, playing primarily on early downs, with Devin Singletary playing 33% of snaps, seeing most of the short yardage work. Stil,l a backfield I want no part of.

Wide Receivers

  • Jayden Higgins & Jaylin Noel (HOU): Rookies rising – 3rd/4th in team receiving yds. Hutchinson (↓ to 63%) & Kirk (↓ to 56%) lost snaps. Both names to monitor going forward if their roles continue to increase.
  • Devaughn Vele (NO): Shaheed trade led to increased usage right out of the gate, 100% snaps in 2-WR & 3-WR sets, 46% in 1-WR. Only 1 catch, but more volume is coming.
  • Christian Watson (GB): Elite 25.9 ADOT this season and saw increased utilization last week without Tucker Kraft. Sneaky WR4 this week against the Giants.
  • Jameson Williams (DET): After the bye week, Williams has seen a big increase in usage, seeing at least six targets and a touchdown in 3/4 games. WR3 floor is stabilizing.
  • Jagaurs WR Splits: Snaps from Week 10: Parker Washington 87%, Tim Patrick 71%, Jakobi Meyers 44%, and Dyami Brown 37%. Washington stayed in the slot with Meyers playing all of his snaps at the Z position. Washington is a strong WR3 with Travis Hutner out for the year

Tight Ends

  • Luke Musgrave (GB): Musgrave’s debut was uninspiring, playing over 75% of snaps but only catching three passes for 23 yards. Overhyped TE2.
  • Taysom Hill (NO): Role doubled – 25 snaps (2x season high), 13 at QB, 7 rush att. Strong option in standard formats, with his role increasing
  • Juwan Johnson (NO): Tyler Shough has brought him back to fantasy relevance as he has scored 10.5 points in three of his last four games. High-end TE2 the rest of the way.
