The Las Vegas Raiders have hired former Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko as offensive coordinator, the club announced Sunday. Andrew Janocko was with Klint Kubiak in Minnesota, New Orleans, and Seattle. Now the two reunite in Las Vegas with the Raiders.
Quarterback Whisperer?
Janocko began his coaching career as a graduate assistant under coach Greg Schiano at Rutgers, where he primarily worked with quarterbacks. He is comfortable with the position. He served as a backup quarterback in college at the University of Pittsburgh. Janocko has 14 years of coaching experience, five of which have been as a quarterbacks coach. During his time in the league, Janocko has worked closely with Sam Darnold, Derek Carr, Justin Fields, and Kirk Cousins. Now, as offensive coordinator, Andrew Janocko will oversee the development of projected No.1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza, alongside head coach Klint Kubiak.
