The Las Vegas Raiders and General Manager John Spytek have made a splash on the first day of the legal tampering period. The franchise has reached an agreement with center Tyler Linderbaum on a three-year, $81 million deal with $60 million guaranteed, per Adam Schefter. The deal makes him the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history.
Build the Trenches
A former first-round pick (25th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft, Linderbaum has started all 17 games in three of his four NFL seasons. Since entering the league, Linderbaum (6-2, 304 lbs) has played over 4,110 snaps at center and has allowed only five sacks in his career, per Pro Football Focus.
The Raiders desperately needed to upgrade their offensive line this offseason, as they ranked last in the NFL in rushing and allowed a league-high 64 sacks in 2025. Linderbaum, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, will now create running lanes for Ashton Jeanty and keep projected No.1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza upright for the foreseeable future.
