The Baltimore Ravens will likely look on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft for some young depth at wide receiver.
With two fourth-round picks, a fifth-rounder, four sixth-round picks, and a seventh on top of that, I would imagine they would trade up once or twice to get their guy. If they stick and pick, especially with one of the fourth-rounders, I can see the Ravens getting potential depth at wide receiver again.
Their big acquisition in free agency, DeAndre Hopkins, is definitely not what he once was. Baltimore will have to get younger at the position, as the Ravens also re-signed Tylan Wallace and have former fourth-rounder from last year, Devontez Walker.
Although I am excited to see Tez take a bigger step this year and more snaps, he was clearly not ready as a developmental rookie till very late in the year. If injuries happen again, like they have in the past with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, their backups will have to step up in big moments. The other wide receivers on the roster include undrafted rookie Dayton Wade, veteran Keith Kirkwood, and quarterback convert Malik Cunningham.
Here are some names to look out for, as there is some value potentially from in the later rounds.
Felton Checks all the Boxes of a Potential Raven

Baltimore’s major needs include an edge rusher, a guard, a defensive tackle, and a safety. They also need a cornerback and a linebacker but receiver seems to always be a need for this team. It is good that it isn’t high up there in priority like previous years, but the Ravens will have to find their diamond in the rough at the receiver position once again.
While these three names have different skill sets and body types, one thing is clear. They all have some size to bring to the table (all are over 6’1″) or have some contest catch ability to their game. Wide receivers that could be targeted by the Ravens on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft include Maryland native Tai Felton, San Jose State’s Nick Nash, and Colorado State’s Tory Horton. Let’s start with the one that reportedly met with him in the leadup to his pro day according to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Tai Felton.
The Terrapin has the combo of speed (he ran a 4.37 40-yard dash) and production to back up his profile of being a draft riser. Felton has his breakout 2024 season at 22 years old, going over 1,124 yards and almost catching 100 passes (96) with 9 touchdowns. At 6’1″ and 183 pounds, although he doesn’t offer contested catch ability, Felton could be another deep ball threat for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson. I will admit though, his skillset is basically like Tez, despite Walker being bigger and faster coming out of North Carolina.
Nash has the Production; Horton has the Athleticism
Nick Nash is the biggest receiver out of the three and plays like it at 6’2″, 203 pounds. The physical pass catcher for the Spartans ran a 4.57 40-yard dash, but that doesn’t worry me too much, as his brand of football is ball winner up top as a potential slot player to start off. His 2024 season was second in receiving, only to tight end Harold Fannin Jr. of Bowling Green. Nash had 1,382 yards and 16 touchdowns, catching 104 passes at San Jose State.
You won’t find a more productive receiver last year than Nash, even though he is an older rookie at 24 and dominated at a smaller school. His skillset does remind me of a Cooper Kupp-type player on the high end of comparisons and the Ravens were interested in him coming out of the 2017 NFL Draft from Eastern Washington.
Tory Horton is a mix of both receivers mentioned, as he is bigger than Felton (tested not as athletically) but is smaller than Nash and faster than him. The 22-year-old Colorado State receiver ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and has some ball skills, along with the speed to become a solid receiver three.
Although he is coming off a knee injury, that could be a good thing for the Ravens if his stock drops, as he wouldn’t have to rush back necessarily. Horton is more of a nuanced route runner than the two receivers, as mentioned, and could play outside on the boundary or the inside as a slot. Felton is more a straight line speed guy, while Horton has some quickness to his game.
Horton had back-to-back 1,130-plus-yard seasons in 2022 and 2023, as 2024 was cut short, and he only had 26 catches for 353 yards and a touchdown in five games before the injury. In both seasons in 2022 and 2023, he had eight touchdowns but with a difference in receptions. In 2022, Horton caught 71 passes, while in 2023, he had a career-high 96 receptions.
Some comp his game to Bateman with his fluidity, but he has the prototypical size and speed that many fall under. While some turn out great and can be decent number two receivers, others could fall by the wayside if they don’t stay healthy in the NFL. I think all three receivers fit what the Ravens might look for in the draft.
