Defensive Streamers: Week 2 provides good spot for Cowboys

Week 2 Defensive Streamers

We have one week of the NFL season under our belts and the defenses stood tall.

With the defenses dominating, we should have some quality Defensive Streamers for Week 2.

The under was 11-2 on the first Sunday of the season as Buffalo’s come-from-behind 41-40 win against Baltimore was only one of two overs for the day.

Enough about what happen on Sunday – all that matters now is getting the right Defensive Streamer for Week 2

Defensive Streamers

Dallas (5 percent Sleeper) home against NY Giants

The Cowboys defense were on the field 10 more minutes than its offense and the “D” was able to hold Philadelphia to 307 total yards after a crazy first half.

The team only recorded 1 sack by Marshawn Kneeland, but now they face a sluggish NY Giants offense in the Cowboys home opener.

Dallas has held the Giants to 20 points or less in their last four visits to AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys have averaged 3.5 sacks and 1.25 turnovers in those four games as well.

Dallas, even without Micah Parsons, should be able to slow down the Giants’ offense.

Arizona (73 percent Sleeper) home against Carolina

The Cardinals just did what was needed to defeat hapless New Orleans on the road.

Arizona gave up 315 yards and only recorded 1 sack and 3 tackles for a loss, but the Carolina offense is a mess.

The Panthers were held to 10 points vs. Jacksonville. The Jaguars gave Carolina quarterback Bryce Young very little time to throw. Jacksonville forced three turnovers, recorded a sack and two tackles for the loss.

The Cardinals front 7 should have their way against the Panthers’ beat-up offensive line.

Indianapolis (15 percent Sleeper) home against Denver

The Colts defense was the surprise for the Sunday games as they held the Miami offense to only 211 yards of total offense.

Indianapolis recorded three sacks, had one fumble recovery and added two interceptions as they were in the Dolphins’ backfield all game long. The Colts also recorded four tackles for a loss.

Now they face a Denver team that struggled vs. the Tennessee defense. Denver second-year QB Bo Nix struggled as he threw two interceptions and had a fumble. The last meeting between the two teams in Indy was a 15-13 victory by the Colts in 2019.

The obvious plays:

LA Rams at Tennessee

Baltimore home against Cleveland

San Francisco at New Orleans
