This is the 21st installment of my no-money spent (NMS) series covering the best tips and tricks for navigating Madden 25 Ultimate team without using a credit card. Post-Super Bowl is always the biggest drop-off in player count in Ultimate Team after the first month of the game being released. At this point, we are working closer to those 99 overall cards with new promos dropping during season six. In this article, I will dive into each promo to help you attack your no-money-spent grind. Below are some of the best ways to earn the new 96+ overall cards that just dropped.

Combine Promo
The NFL Combine promo is back in Madden Ultimate Team with new twists and has many different lucrative rewards to earn. We even have some skin in the game this year with extra boosts to the combine strategy items that upgrade speed, acceleration, play recognition, pass block, run block, or block shed if players hit certain metrics during the combine. Let’s take a look at how no money spent players should be attacking the combine promo.
Upgradable Card
When logging on you will receive a 96 overall QB Kurt Benkert who is a great no-money-spent option for us. He has 97 throw power mixed with 99 throw on the run making him a solid starter in a lot of lineups. To upgrade Benkert, you need to use training obtained through the field pass and solo challenges to upgrade him.
Benkert boosts each 93 OVR rookie unlocked along the way with +1 SPD, +1 ACC, +4 AWR, and +4 PRC. Add the Showtime Showdown Champion version of Benkert to increase all throwing stats +1 and unlock 3x discounted ability buckets. (Champion can be earned in the H2H event)

Genki Force Field Pass
The Field Pass for the Combine promo contains training, BND player packs, and an ability upgrade token towards the end of the promo. Ultimately not one of the most lucrative field passes we have gotten but will still help us upgrade are team. Below is the full breakdown of the Field Pass.

House Rules Event
Win H2H games in this limited-time event with special rules to earn Coins and Showtime Showdown Players. New player rewards will be added as the season progresses. Redux Release 10
Redux release ten is quite disappointing as the cards are 95 overall and are already outdated by the time it makes sense to invest some of these former LTD cards. Ultimately this does help theme teams round out their squads with the average cost of these cards falling between 250-300k by the end of today. Below are all of the former LTD cards that will be rolling out in redux ten.

The new season comes with a field pass with similar rewards compared to the seasons before. There are coin rewards, ticket rewards, option packs, and player upgrades throughout the field pass. The most concerning part of the field passes for us no money spent players is the highest upgrade is 95 overall. This means we will have to spend a good amount of tickets to upgrade our cards to 98 overall.

- Will include 96 or 97 overalls

My Current No Money Spent Squad
Since the Super Bowl promo, our team has not made any significant upgrades over the last month. We added the free Paul Krause at free safety and a free legend in Levon Kirkland at linebacker. The Genki Force promo allowed us to add two new starters in Cameron Jordan and Dion Dawkins. Ultimately during the combine promo I will be looking to upgrade my skill positions as the speed gap is starting to become too much with my current lineup.
Offense

Strongest Positions: OL and TE
Weakest Positions: QB and WR
Defense

Strongest Positions: SS and FS
Weakest Positions: CB and RE
