Welcome to NFL Week 14 Buy or Sell?! I am not sure how or why in the world you have extended your trade deadline to this point in the season, but here comes an article for crazy people like you. Enjoy 2025’s last edition of Fantasy Football Buy or Sell. Since 99% of fantasy players are no longer able to trade, I am also going to include players who have a good feeling heading into the fantasy playoff season.
Week 14 Buys
Bucky Irving
Bucky Irving missed 7 games with an injury this season and finally came back. He scored his first rushing touchdown of the season and also showed what he can do in the passing game with 2 receptions for 20 yards. He had 19 touches in this game, and it looked like his usage was limited. I expect Irving to be a full go in Week 14, and this will be insanely exciting as we head into the playoffs. If you were able to get him on a discount because of the injury, I am jealous.Â
In the game before the return for Irving, he showed what he can do in the passing game. He caught 5 balls for 102 yards and a touchdown. This will be the X-Factor for Bucky Irving fantasy owners this playoff season.Â
Joe Burrow
He’s baaaack! There are players in sports that deserve to be on the field, because when they do, they make not just the sport of football, but all sports better. That is Joe Burrow. Although the Baltimore Ravens are a streaky squad this year, Burrow absolutely changed the outcome of Thursday’s Thanksgiving Night game. Burrow shook the rust off by completing 24 of 46 passes, but had 2 Touchdowns and no picks. I would take Burrow as my QB 3 ROS. He will be able to win leagues, especially because he was dropped in some places. Burrow and the Bengals offense should be ready to roll for the rest of the year, especially if they beat the Buffalo Bills this week.
Kyle Monangai
Kyle Monangai has looked amazing for the Chicago Bears in the second half of this season. The worst mistake of D’Andre Swift’s career was missing a game a few weeks ago so that Ben Johnson could see all of the things that Monangai can do. Monangai had 22 rushes for over 100 yards against the Eagles on Black Friday. D’Andre Swift also had a healthy portion of snaps, totaling 18 rush attempts. These two numbers are very comparable, but the fact that Monangai, who is younger and more explosive, got more is very exciting for the future. Get some more Kyle Monangai in your life, but you cannot spend too high. There are encouraging signs, but there is no certainty.
Week 14 Sells
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Managers started their Thanksgiving on a bad note this week with Amon-Ra St. Brown leaving with an ankle injury in the 1st quarter and never to return. He gave you an unfortunate Goose Egg, which landed a lot of us belly up before week 14 even really started. The good news for St. Brown and his fantasy managers is that it is a low ankle sprain, which should indicate an earlier return than a high ankle, but his status for Thursday night is in question, and I do not anticipate him playing in that game. He should be back for Week 15 and Week one of the fantasy playoffs, but his performance should be hindered for a little while.Â
In all honesty, if he plays Thursday with no real concern for the injury afterward, I view him the same as before the injury, but we truly do not know because of the weird timing of everything and the nature of a Low-ankle injury, it’s very hit or miss.
Travis Etienne
Travis Eitenne’s case is simple. His upside is limited. As well as he had done in the previous 4 weeks of the season, he reminded you of weeks 3-7, where inconsistency was shown without fail. I want to draw attention to the inefficiency this week: 2.3 yards per carry against the Tennessee Titans. Now, backup Bhayshal Tuten did not get much better at all; it shows you that Jacksonville’s run game is not a strong situation for the fantasy football playoffs.Â
RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey has had two games as the lead running back for the Denver Broncos. One thing is clear, he was schemed up in the red zone after the bye. While he was underwhelming on the ground again with 13 rushes for 35 yards, he scored two rushing touchdowns. He also had 3 catches for 27 yards, which was great to see. The big problem with Harvey is that I do not think that we are in for consistency with him, which is unfortunate. The Denver offense turns to the passing game sometimes and sometimes the run game. Sell Harvey off of two TDs if you can to avoid inconsistency. If you have him and can’t trade, let’s hope that Sean Payton proves me wrong, and he becomes a league winner.Â
