Philadelphia Eagles Remove Kevin Patullo as Offensive Coordinator

The Philadelphia Eagles have removed Kevin Patullo from the offensive coordinator position. According to NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo, Patullo has not been fired, and there is a chance that he could remain on the team’s coaching staff.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni released the following statement:

“I have decided to make a change at offensive coordinator. I met with Kevin today to discuss the difficult decision, as he is a great coach who has my utmost respect. He has been integral to this team’s success over the last five years, not only to the on-field product but behind the scenes as a valued leader for our players and organization. I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful coaching career. Ultimately, when we fall short of our goals that responsibility lies on my shoulders.”

The Philadelphia Eagles will now search for their fifth offensive coordinator in five years.

Background

Kevin Patullo has been with the Eagles since 2021. Patullo served as the team’s passing game coordinator from 2021 to 2024 and held the title of associate head coach from 2023 to 2024. Patullo was promoted to offensive coordinator before the 2025 season.

Under Patullo, the Eagles ranked 24th in total offense and 19th in scoring. Philadelphia’s passing attack averaged 194.3 yards per game in 2025—6.4 yards more per game than last season. However, their run game didn’t perform as well as it did in 2024. The Eagles’ rushing attack dropped from 2nd in the NFL to 18th in just one season. In 2025, the Eagles ran for 1,988 yards and scored 17 rushing touchdowns—12 fewer than last season (29). As a result, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense averaged 4.9 fewer points per game than the Super Bowl team from just one season ago.
