Week 13 Last-Minute Waiver Adds

There aren’t too many impactful waiver adds after the Thanksgiving and Black Friday games heading into the Week 13 main slate on Sunday, which looks sort of gross with lower totals. However, there are a few desperation flex options that you can plug in if needed or stashes for the following weeks, with playoffs almost here.

With kickoff looming, it’s time to make those final roster tweaks. Whether you’re dealing with injuries, bye weeks, or just looking for upside, here are some last-minute waiver wire adds who could make a difference in Week 13.

Running Backs to Add for Week 13

USE CODE BLITZ

Chris Rodriguez, Washington Commanders (vs. Denver Broncos): ESPN- 12%

Honorable Mention: Michael Carter, Arizona Cardinals (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers): ESPN- 9%

Bam Knight is questionable, but if he is out, Carter becomes the last man standing in the backfield for Arizona and could be in line to score against Tampa Bay. Commanders‘ running back Rodriguez could take a bigger step forward as the lead back, despite a tough matchup against the Broncos, so this is more of a stash with a favorable playoff schedule, with the other backs taking a backseat coming off the bye.

Wide Receivers to Add for Week 13

Isaiah Hodgins, New York Giants (@ New England Patriots): ESPN- 4%

Honorable Mention: Greg Dortch, Arizona Cardinals (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers): ESPN-6%

With Marvin Harrison Jr. questionable, Dortch is still not a bad PPR play, as this Cardinals vs. Buccaneers game looks to be a high-scoring affair if both teams can push each other. Although Jameis Winston will be put on the back burner behind Jaxson Dart, who returns for Monday Night Football against the Patriots off his concussion, Isaiah Hodgins has had double-digit PPR points the last two weeks as a starting wide receiver for the Giants.

Tight Ends to Stream

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars (@ Tennessee Titans): ESPN- 21%

Honorable Mention: Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins (vs. New Orleans Saints): ESPN- 18%

If Waller is activated off injured reserve for Miami, he could be a startable option against New Orleans, but if not, he would be a stash on your bench if you have an open I.R. spot. Strange and Trevor Lawrence’s connection has been solid this year, and it came back to form for the tight end’s first game back off of injured reserve for Jacksonville against the Titans in a good matchup.

Quarterbacks to Stream

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (vs. New Orleans Saints): ESPN- 13%

Honorable Mention: Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars): ESPN- 6%

Ward has been heating up lately and could repeat against a Jaguars defense that could be a sneaky shootout for the Titans, as he has been running more and might be a good stash with a decent schedule with one more bye week coming up. Tagovailoa also has a good schedule and could have a decent game against the Saints’ defense, as he has plenty to prove to ride the wave of a Dolphins offense that runs through De’Von Achane.

Defenses to Stream

Arizona Cardinals (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers): ESPN- 10%

New Orleans Saints (@ Miami Dolphins): ESPN- 4%

Even if Baker Mayfield plays, this offense was already sputtering, as the Cardinals’ defense could be a decent play if Mayfield struggles again or doesn’t end up playing the full game. Although we recommend a few Dolphins earlier, that doesn’t mean the Saints defense can’t be a streamable option, as they also have a good playoff schedule. Tua is always in line for a turnover or two, as this is more of a stash pick among defenses.
