The DFS Must Starts: Darnold stack could provide big scores for 2 slates during Divisional Weekend

The DFS Must Starts Divisional Weekend

Well, we are starting to get down to the final The DFS Must Starts for the NFL season.

This weekend’s Divisional Round games give us with just 6 games left to play in DraftKings’ Classic version of their Main Slates.

This week I will concentrate on whole weekend slate for my write-ups. Let’s bring home some green for next week’s Championship Games.

Let’s get into the plays!

QB DFS Must Starts

Sam Darnold, Seattle ($5,400, 22.9 percent rostered)

I know Darnold didn’t have much success against San Francisco this season, but it’s hard to ignore the matchup.

Darnold has always struggled against pressure, but the 49ers’ injuries on the defensive side of the ball has limited them to only 20 sacks this season.

When given time, Darnold has shredded defenses and San Francisco’s defense ranked second to last in pressure rate at 26.7 percent.

Saturday’s games: Darnold

Sunday’s games: Drake Maye, New England ($6,300, 51 percent rostered)

RB DFS Must Starts

RJ Harvey, Denver ($6,200, 33.2 percent rostered)

Harvey checks all the boxes for me on my spreadsheet this week to make him a stronger play over the likes San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey ($8,800, 43.0 percent rostered) and Buffalo’s James Cook III ($7,300, 30 percent rostered).

Harvey faces a Bills’ defense that has allowed 25.4 DK points to running backs this season.

Plus, Harvey has been active in the passing game since the Broncos’ Week 12 bye. He has averaged 4.3 targets during Denver’s 5-1 run to end the season. He is also third on the team in targets inside the 10 yard line with 7 this season despite starting only starting 7 games.

Saturday’s games: Harvey

Sunday’s games: Kyren Williams, LA Rams ($6,600, 74.4 percent rostered)

WR DFS Must Starts

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle ($8,500, 54.3 percent rostered)

This is the toughest part of lineup making for the four-game slate – Smith-Njigba or LA Rams’ Puka Nacua ($9,000, 45.5 percent rostered).

I’m going with Jaxon for my main lineup for the 4-game slate, but I will have Puka in 3 of the 5 lineups I’m making.

I’m pairing Smith-Njigba with my QB for the beginning of a nice Seattle stack.

Smith-Njigba still averaged 18.9 DK points vs. San Fran despite Darnold’s lackluster performances. He had 16 catches on 23 targets for 208 yards the two matchups.

Saturday’s games: Smith-Njigba

Sunday’s games: Nacua

TE DFS Must Starts

AJ Barner, Seattle ($3,600, 18.2 percent rostered)

Here is the second part of my Darnold double-stack for the weekend. And I may play Barner in all 8 of the lineups I play in the 4-game slate and Saturday’s 2-game slate.

And Barner also underperformed in the two matchups against the 49ers.

But take away those two games, he averaged 9.55 DK points a game in his other 15 games.

Plus, San Francisco was a bottom 10 defense against TE in DK scoring this season, allowing 15.1 points a game.

Saturday’s games: Barner

Sunday’s games: Hunter Henry, New England ($4,500, 24.8 percent rostered)

DST DFS Must Starts

With both slates, I’m going with the cheapest DSTs on the slates. I want to save as much salary cap I can for offensive players, and it’s OK to run back a defense against your QB in a 4- or 2-game slates.

Saturday’s games: San Francisco ($2,200, 32.2 percent rostered)

Sunday’s games: Chicago ($2,400, 63.7 percent rostered)
