My streak came to an end for my Betting Guide last week.
Ryan Gerard and Sudarshan Yellamaraju were my top plays last week, and they struggled mightily on Saturday at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans to end any chance of a third straight week of picking a winner.
At least we get back to regular golf for the rest of the season, even though signature events and majors dominate the schedule for the next two months.
This week’s signature event heads to the Trump National Doral, rightfully nicknamed the Blue Monster, for the Cadillac Championship. This is the Tour’s first visit to the Monster since the WGC-Cadillac Championship in 2016. Adam Scott won that event with a 12-under score 10 years ago.
Let’s get into this week’s plays!
Betting Guide: Bets to Win

Collin Morikawa (+1950 on DraftKings)
You have to be long and accurate to tame the Blue Monster, and even though he’s not the longest hitter on Tour, Morikawa finds a way on these types of courses.
It’s his amazing approach, play, and accuracy that help him excel in difficult scoring conditions.
He is the Tour’s top player in shots gained: Approach, and ranks second in course fit on my spreadsheet this week.
When you combine his approach play with greens in regulation (5th), it gives up the highest baseline in this week’s betting field.
Si Woo Kim (+2600 on DraftKings)
Si Woo comes into the week as my top DFS play this week, and I can’t ignore his betting number either.
He comes into the event as the best course fit on my spreadsheet and ranks in the Top 25 in 8 of the 11 categories I used this week.
And everything aligns this week to make him a strong play – stats, fit, and price!
Adam Scott (+4200 on DraftKings)
Why not take Scott this week?
He was the last PGA Tour winner at the Blue Monster, but his 2026 stats are the big reason he’s a real contender.
His elite approach play, strong greens in regulation, and his strong play with his mid to long irons have him in the Top 5 on my spreadsheet.
Plus, he’s Top 20 in driving distance and bogey avoidance.
Top 20 with Ties

Ryo Hisatsune (+164 on DraftKings): One of the comp courses for the Blue Monster is Torrey Pines, and all Hisatsune did was shoot four rounds under 70 for a T2 at the Farmers Insurance Open earlier this year at Torrey.
Daniel Berger (+184 on DraftKings): Berger is a sneaky play for a Top 20 finish because most think he relies more on accuracy than distance with his shots off the tee. But actually, he’s improved his swing speed this year to rank 63rd in distance, but his reliable accuracy (34th) will be needed as well.
One and Done
Cameron Young: Young is a good play this week as we ride his recent good form. Despite his T25 at the RBC Heritage, he had racked up four straight Top 10 finishes, including his win at THE PLAYERS Championship.
