NFL Week 11 Hot Takes: Bills are Done, Warren RB1, and A.J. Enters 2025

Welcome to NFL Week 11 Hot Takes. This week, we will be diving into A.J. Brown, Jaylen Warren’s upside, and then diving into the Bills’ Collapse in the middle of the season. Will this rut for Buffalo and Brown continue or change the tide in Week 11? Find out now…

Hot Take #1

Jaylen Warren – RB1 Overall

Jaylen Warren has been an extremely reliable running back this season. In fact, he has been a true RB2 all season. He has finished just barely outside the top 24 twice, but when it comes to being inside the top 1 or 2, only once. That means that he has truly been an RB2. The value from Warren comes from the steady hand that he brings to the Pittsburgh Steelers. At times, their passing game can be inconsistent with Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf. While Rodgers can still facilitate a good offense besides DK, it still can be difficult for them to get anything going when Metcalf isn’t rolling. Warren showcased his strength over the last two weeks, fighting for every inch and succeeding at that.

Why will Jaylen Warren be the RB1 overall in fantasy this week? Well, they play the Cincinnati Bengals this week… and you know what that means? Let Warren loose. The Bengals have been atrocious on defense this year, especially in the run game. The last time they played a football game, they made Kyle Monangai look like prime Marshall Faulk. Jaylen Warren is primed for a big day. The Steelers were coming off a tremendous win last week, only to disappoint on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers. This week, that roller coaster will be going up again off the legs of Jaylen Warren.

Hot Take #2

A.J. Brown Enters 2025

It is well-documented that the struggles of an A.J. Brown owner this season. The borderline first-round pick has done everything but thrive for most of the season. But this matchup this weekend will absolutely break him out of this weird slump he is in. The offense has to get involved if the Philadelphia Eagles want any chance to win the game against the Detroit Lions. Unlike their most recent NFC North showdown, the Lions are a consistently explosive team, and the Eagles are going to need to throw the ball down the field. The good thing for the Eagles is that A.J. Brown is made for spots like this, and quarterback Jalen Hurts excels in that area, too.

A.J. Brown investors should be excited. The Lions rank bottom third in passing defense, and Brown is a threat that could easily impose his will on the game. Some trade deadlines are this week, and I highlighted this in a recent buy or sell article, but Brown’s schedule the rest of the year is favorable to him, seeing Detroit, Dallas, Chicago, and Washington, which could be a league-winning move down the stretch for some fantasy managers. Capitalize on Brown’s value because after this weekend, it will all be gone.

Hot Take #3

Buffalo Spoils Own KC Win

The Buffalo Bills have gotten the NFL’s version of cooties. It all stems from their week 6 back-to-back loss at the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Bills were coming off a shocking Sunday Night defeat against Drake Maye and the New England Patriots. They go into Mercedes-Benz Stadium and lay an egg against the most inconsistent team in football, the Atlanta Falcons.

The Atlanta Falcons, this season and quite honestly for years now, have been the model of frustration. They have drafted a top-10 talent on the offensive side of the ball at every position and cannot seem to find a way to get any of them the ball in one game, and the next, they look like the greatest show on turf. It is extremely frustrating to watch if you’re a fan, bettor, or fantasy manager of anyone on that team. For example, they beat the Bills and then lost 4 straight. One of them where they got blown out by the decimated Miami Dolphins. Oh, and by the way, they lost to the Carolina Panthers by a score of 30-0 in week 3.

The Bills are morphing into this Falcons team and not quite to such a harsh degree, but it is getting ugly for the Bills. They have now lost 3 out of 5 at a time when it looked like no one could beat them. Within that streak, we thought they wrote the ship against the Kansas City Chiefs after they dominated more than the score would show for 4 quarters. I predict that the Buffalo Bills will lose again this week to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leaving everyone wondering what is going on in Buffalo and how they squander away the division themselves, not even because of the Patriots.
