Some early season Waiver Wire Stashes are finally seeing positive results for patient managers.
Kyle Monangai shined in his first career start as he finished with 176 yards and added 3 catches for 22 yards during Chicago’s road win against Cincinnati. Monangai was on the list just two weeks ago.
Indianapolis’ Alec Pierce has been on a nice three-game run as he’s averaging 4.3 catches and 94.0 receiving yards during that span. He made the Stash Can the same week as Monangai.
Let’s continue to find those gems we can use during the final stretch heading to the fantasy football playoffs.
Onto this week’s Waiver Wire Stashes!
Waiver Wire Stashes
RJ Harvey, Denver (80 percent Yahoo!, 68 percent ESPN, 73 percent Sleeper)
I know Harvey is not much of a stash since his rostered percentages are all above 65 percent, but he is giving us glimpses of what could happen if J.K. Dobbins would go down by an injury.
Harvey is the de facto receiving RB in Sean Payton’s offense and he’s has a knack of finding the end zone despite his limited touches.
Harvey has only played above 30 percent of the snaps once in the Broncos’ last five games. And he has scored in three straight games.
He just needs more touches.
Andrei Iosivas, Cincinnati (1 percent Yahoo!, 1 percent ESPN, 3 percent Sleeper)
Iosivas has played 80 percent of the Bengals’ snaps in 6 of 9 games this season, including 84 percent of the snaps in the loss to Chicago.
He has had two 5-catch games already this season and would be in a prime spot if Tee Higgins, who cleared a concussion evaluation at the end of Sunday’s game, or Ja’Marr Chase were to fall to an injury.
And even if he remains as the WR3 on a weekly basis, the amount of passes the Bengals are throwing should give Iosivas more opportunities to be a spot starter on deep starting lineups.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville (18 percent Yahoo!, 5 percent ESPN, 64 percent Sleeper)
If Washington didn’t have the case of the drops in the Jaguars’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams in London during Week 7, we would have been talking about him sooner.
Washington has seen 44 targets on the season, but the uptick of looks has been a boon the last two weeks. He has seen 19 targets in Jacksonville’s last two contests.
And he corrected his catching inconsistencies in the Jags’ win against the Raiders as he hauled in 8 catches on 9 targets for 90 yards.
Brian Thomas Jr. left late during the win against Las Vegas with an ankle injury. And if he misses time, Washington could be Trevor Lawrence’s top target in the passing game.
Tory Horton, Seattle (5 percent Yahoo!, 7 percent ESPN, 15 percent Sleeper)
Horton has only played more than 54 percent of Seattle’s offensive snaps twice this season, but the rookie has a nose for the end zone in his limited playing time.
He added two touchdown catches in the Seahawks’ road win at Washington Sunday night, and Horton produced in his busiest game so far in the NFL, playing 73 percent of the snaps.
His snap count may go back below 50 percent when Cooper Kupp returns to the lineup, but if Horton can continue his TD prowess, he’s worth a pickup and a start in leagues with deeper starting lineups.
