The DFS Must Starts: Looking for another big day in Week 10

The DFS Must Starts Week 10

Well, I almost did it again!

I came close to another big win but some late game stat fillers by Cincinnati’s Joe Flacco and Ja’Marr Chase push me down the leaderboards in my The DFS Must Starts in the DraftKings’ Week 9 Early only slate.

But I can’t complain with a couple Top 25 finishes in the Early Slate and one other lineup scoring more than 200 points for a profitable week.

As you can see from my lineups, these include a lot of players I suggested from my spreadsheet last week.

Let’s into this week’s DraftKings Main Slate plays!

QB DFS Must Starts

Caleb Williams, Chicago ($6,200, 2.6 percent rostered)

I know the weather could play a factor in this game as there is a chance of snowy, windy conditions, but I just can’t ignore Williams against the New York Giants defense.

The Giants have given up 21.5 DraftKings points to quarterbacks this season and allowed San Francisco’s Mac Jones to average 9.8 yards per attempt last week.

Williams is coming off of his biggest DK performance of the season as he scored 38.7 DK points in the shootout win against Cincinnati. The best line of his boxscore last week is what he did rushing – he ran for 53 yards, his second best rushing day of the season.

Chalky Play: Josh Allen, Buffalo ($7,000, 16.3 percent rostered)

Value Play: Jacoby Brissett, Arizona ($4,600, 2.9 percent rostered)

RB DFS Must Starts

Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco ($9,000, 24.2 percent rostered)

After a lackluster game against Houston in Week 8, CMC bounced back last week with a 37.3 DK points outing.

Now, the 49ers return home this week to face NFC West Division rival, LA Rams.

The Rams have shut down running backs this season, limiting them to only 14.9 DK points, but McCaffrey has loved playing against the Rams.

He’s averaged 92.8 yards rushing and 0.8 TDs a game in five matchups. And, oh I forgot to mention, he has also averaged 7.2 receptions for 65.2 yards a game vs. the Rams.

Chalky Play: De’Von Achane, Miami ($7,400, 26.3 percent rostered)

Value Play: Chicago RBs, D’Andre Swift ($6,100, 6.3 percent rostered) and Kyle Monangai ($5,600, 2.4 percent rostered)

WR DFS Must Starts

D.J. Moore, Chicago ($5,500, 4.3 percent rostered)

I will continue to find a stacking option to go with my quarterback and this week it is Moore.

He gives you a nice price tag and he’s coming off his best fantasy game of the season. He scored 23.0 DK points in the Bears’ win against the Bengals.

Now, he faces a Giants defense that has been torched by WRs this season. New York has given up 37.4 DK points to the position and have given up Top 5 numbers in receptions (117) and receiving yardage (1,509) this season.

And even if the weather is bad, the Bears coaching staff have using Moore in a variety of ways this season as he scored a rushing TD last week.

Chalky Play: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle ($8,600, 20.4 percent rostered)

Value Play: Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay ($4,500, 6.8 percent rostered)

TE DFS Must Starts

David Njoku, Cleveland ($3,200, 4.3 percent rostered)

I know Browns rookie Harold Fannin Jr. ($4,200, 4.1 percent rostered) has cut into Njoku’s playing time this season, but Fannin Jr. is nursing a hamstring injury that popped up on Thursday which forced him to miss practice.

The NY Jets give up 14.0 DK points a game to TEs, but they have given 6 TDs to the position, which is tied for the second on the season.

Despite Fannin Jr.’s emergence, Njoku still put up 13.7 points last week against the New England defense.

Chalky Play: Trey McBride, Arizona ($6,000, 13.7 rostered)

Value Play: Greg Dulcich, Miami ($2,600, 1.8 rostered)

DST Plays

Buffalo ($3,700, 0.6 percent rostered) at Miami

Jacksonville ($2,600, 20.8 percent rostered) at Houston
