7 Fantasy Players With Gaps Between Their Upside and ADP

The true way to win your fantasy football league is to land one or two sleepers. Guys who have lower ADP, but end up being full-time starters in your lineup. For example, Matthew Stafford last season. Someone who was not even being drafted but finished with the third most fantasy points by a quarterback. Here are seven players who have a low ADP, but have too much upside to ignore.

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants

Jaxson Dart is the player the New York Giants have needed for years. He is coming off a great rookie season that re-energized the fanbase and brought hope back to the organization. He completed 216 passes for 2,272 yards with 15 touchdowns to five interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and nine touchdowns. Had he started all 17 games, it would have been one of the greatest rookie seasons of all time. What makes this more impressive is that most of it came without him having Malik Nabers or Cam Skattebo. The Giants’ two main offensive weapons.

With those two healthy and seemingly ready to go for week one, the offense should be more explosive. Plus, the Giants invested heavily in the skill positions, bringing in Isaiah Likely, Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin, and Malachi Fields. With these weapons, plus his rushing upside, he easily can put in a top-five fantasy season being picked around the 8th round. The only concern is injuries, but he did not take any unnecessary hits during the first preseason game. It’s a sign that John Harbaugh has found a way to control his aggressiveness.

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams took the league by storm in his sophomore season with his clutch gene. He led six game-winning drives that propelled the Chicago Bears into the playoffs. He also flashed the talent that made him the first overall pick in 2024. He completed 330 passes for 3942 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. He also rushed for 388 yards and three touchdowns. As if this season could not get more impressive, he did this all in his first season in Ben Johnson’s offense. For many fantasy players, he was the late-round quarterback pick who helped them win their league.

Now, sure, it would be silly to expect him to have the same luck in the fourth quarter as he did last season. But now that he’s comfortable in Johnson’s offense, he should be able to put up a similar stat line. His receiving core is relatively the same, meaning he already has chemistry with his receivers. He’s currently seen as a fringe quarterback one, but with the amount of talent he has, he could easily find himself inside the top three of fantasy quarterback production when it’s all said and done.

Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Every year fantasy players look to identify the handcuff running backs who can make a big impact. Players they feel can start in their lineup and put up big fantasy numbers based on touchdowns or injury to the starter. One of the biggest names being floated around this season is Jordan Mason. On 159 attempts last season, he rushed for 758 yards and a career-high six touchdowns. He is the back who gets the opportunity early in the down and uses it to get big chunk rushes.

While many view him as a touchdown-dependent flex option, his upside is much higher than that. Sure, he is stuck in a 1A 1B role with Aaron Jones. But Jones is entering his age-32 season, and dealt with injuries last season. He is at the point where injuries and regression are a major concern. We could see him take a step back in touches to keep him as fresh as possible. These touches will likely go to Mason, giving him more volume and more opportunity to rack up yards and touchdowns. You can get a running back two in the 8th round.

Tyler Allgier, RB, Arizona Cardinals

There is no player in fantasy whose stock is rising faster than Tyler Allgier. With Jeremiyah Love suffering an ankle sprain and no longer a lock to be healthy for Week One, many assume that the reps will go to Allgier. Even if Love is able to come back and start against the Los Angeles Chargers, are they really going to be giving him 20+ carries coming off an injury? It just does not seem like a smart strategy for someone they see as a foundational piece of the future. Especially after the injury occurred due to Love taking on a heavy workload in the first preseason game.

These touches will go right to Allgier. He was already seen as a solid bench option this season. He has shown he can be productive in an RB-two role, having 514 rushing yards and eight touchdowns behind Bijan Robinson last season. But in a bigger role, we can see him put up numbers similar to his rookie season in 2022. This would turn him from a handcuff depth piece into a solid RB-two on your roster. With him going around the 9th round in 12-team fantasy leagues, this is a steal.

Jakobi Meyers, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

It was a tale of two seasons for Jakobi Meyers in 2025. In the seven games he played with the Las Vegas Raiders, he was targeted 49 times, catching 33 of them for 352 yards and zero touchdowns. But he became much more productive when he went to the Jaguars. In nine games, he was targeted 61 times, catching 41 of them for 483 yards and three touchdowns. He and Trevor Lawrence seemed ot have an insane chemistry with each other. Four of his six double-digit fantasy games came when he was with the Jags.

While other Jaguars receivers are getting the hype, Meyers’ track record makes him a very intriguing fantasy option. With how well Meyers and Lawrence looked together last season, you should expect some of that to carry over this season. Plus, with him being the third wide receiver on the depth chart, he won’t get paired with the top-end corner. Leading to him getting open more and having better matchups. In fantasy drafts, he is currently going around the 8th round. But he easily can be a solid wide receiver two.

KC Concepcion, WR, Cleveland Browns

Rookies are always the hardest players to project in redraft fantasy football. Especially when they join a dysfunctional organization, as KC Concepcion did. You do not know how their skills will adjust to the NFL and what type of workload they’re going to get. In Concepcion’s case, there is also the question about who will be the Browns quarterback. In dynasty, drafting him makes a ton of sense because you can just stash him on the taxi squad. But in redraft, one bad pick could be the difference between a championship and getting punished.

But Concepcion has the raw talent that gives him so much fantasy upside. At Texas A&M last season, he caught 61 passes for 919 yards and 9 touchdowns. That’s an average yards per catch of 15.1. He’s also shown the ability to be a gadget guy, having rushed the ball 70 times for 431 yards and 3 touchdowns over his 3 seasons in college. He also flashed a ton of potential in his preseason debut, having a touchdown on three catches. He is such a gifted athlete that it does not matter who is under center. He has an ADP of around 135, but will give you the stats if someone drafts him in the 3rd or 4th round.

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots

For years, Hunter Henry has been one of the most consistent tight ends in fantasy. Sure, he is not one of the big-time fantasy-producing tight ends. But is coming off a year in which he had 60 receptions, a career-high 768 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns. This allowed him to be the TE12, and a low-end tight end one in your lineup. What should give fans more confidence is that he continued to get a ton of work in the red zone. He had 22 targets last season, leading to 14 catches and 5 touchdowns.

There are concerns that Henry’s production will drop with the addition of AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs. However, this will not hurt him as much as people expect. Henry has been one of Maye’s favorite targets since he entered the league. Plus, the defense will be more focused on stopping Brown and Doubs, which could lead to Henry getting favorable routes. He should be able to put up around 600 yards and get another high touchdown number. He could easily find himself as a fringe tight end one again. To land that type of production in the 10th round or later is huge.
