Hopefully you were on the right side of the offensive barrage during Week 1 of the NFL season, but now is time to find those waiver wire stashes when the injuries hit your teams.
These players are not ones you need to pick up and start right away, but if the right circumstances arise, you need to be ahead of your league mates on the waiver wire. It may just save you valuable FAAB you can use later in the season.
The following may have popped off this past weekend and may not have a role in the next few coming weeks, but it’s better to be early than late on these three players.

Waiver Wire Stashes
Kendrick Bourne, Arizona (0.1 percent on Yahoo!, 20 percent on Sleeper)
Kendrick Bourne surprised with a solid game in the Cardinals’ 26-14 upset road win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
On a team of talented receivers, Bourne was second on the team in targets with 8 and he converted all 8 for 75 yards.
Tight end Trey McBride was still quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s No. 1 guy with 13 targets, but Bourne had almost has many targets as of Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. combined. Those two combined for 10 targets for 6 catches and 89 yards.
I, personally, have never been a fan of Harrison Jr. (I’m probably bias because I had his dad on several teams during his heyday), and Junior has just not lived up to his name and perceived talent.
But picking up Bourne, if you have an extra spot, may be a good play until Harrison Jr. figures things out (or if he doesn’t).
Kalif Raymond, Chicago (1 percent on Yahoo!, 0.1 percent on Sleeper)
Kalif Raymond must hold a special spot in Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson’s heart, and he didn’t disappoint in his first game with his new team.
Raymond, just like Bourne, is surrounded by a group of talented receivers, but he led the Bears with 9 targets for 8 catches and 84 yards.
Raymond played three seasons under Johnson and Bears assistant coach Antwaan Randle-El when the three were with the Detroit Lions.
Raymond had a career-high 616 yards receiving in Johnson’s first year as the Lions offensive coordinator in 2022.
The two united his offseason when Raymond signed a one-year free agent deal with the Bears.
Raymond’s standout Week 1 performance may be short-lived as WRs Luther Burden, Rome Odunze and TE Colston Loveland were held to a combined 7 catches in the Bears’ big 59-37 win against the Carolina Panthers. But this group has not been healthiest this season, and Raymond may continue to play a role.

Antonio Williams, Washington (2 percent on Yahoo!, 7 percent on Sleeper)
Rookie Antonio Williams may be on the borderline of a true waiver wire pickup as he appears to be the Commanders No. 3 option.
He led the team with 64 yards receiving on 4 catches with 4 targets, but veteran WR Terry McLaurin was non-existent until late in the game. McLaurin finished with 4 targets with 2 catches for 14 yards in Washington’s 24-22 loss the NFC East Division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Williams saw his stock rise some with a solid training camp, but veteran Stefon Diggs signed in early August and may finally getting a strong understanding of the Commanders offense.
But it was good sign for Williams as he did haul in the late TD pass to give the Commanders a chance to tie the game.
