With kickoff looming, it’s time to make those final roster tweaks. Whether you’re dealing with injuries and need a desperation start or just looking for upside stashes, here are some last-minute waiver wire adds who could make a difference in Week 15.
Running Backs to Add for Week 15

Brian Robinson Jr. (vs. Tennessee Titans): ESPN- 23.4%
Honorable Mention: Jaylen Wright (@ Pittsburgh Steelers): ESPN- 15.5%
Even though Christian McCaffrey is “good to go,” to block the CMC manager or for your own insurance, Brian Robinson Jr. should be the must-add in terms of handcuff running backs. The 49ers and the Rams, like Blake Corum, are the best environments for any fantasy backup rushers to stash on benches, as they could be league winners at any time in the playoffs. The Titans have been more stingy vs. the run as of late, but CMC has been one of the best and guaranteed volume backs in fantasy this year.
De’Von Achane is going to play Monday Night against the Steelers, but for the Dolphins, we saw more usage for Jaylen Wright as the primary backup instead of Ollie Gordon. Any Achane or fantasy manager who wants an upside handcuff should look into stashing Wright on benches for the fantasy playoffs, as managers want to have insurance in the fantasy playoffs.
Wide Receivers to Add for Week 15
Darius Slayton (vs. Washington Commanders): ESPN- 22%
Honorable Mention: Chimere Dike (@ San Francisco 49ers): ESPN- 20.1%
The Giants and Commanders game could end up high scoring, as Jaxson Dart hasn’t been running as much coming off his concussion. This could lead to more passing attempts deep and volume to the other targets besides Wan’Dale Robinson and Theo Johnson, like Darius Slayton, who has had some good flex-worthy games when healthy against a weak Washington secondary.
The Titans should be trailing most of the game, meaning more Cam Ward pass attempts, and even in a cold game in Cleveland last week, Chimere Dike still saw 8 targets, and that could happen again vs. a 49ers secondary that is middling at best. He is also a factor in special teams weekly, with two punt return touchdowns.
Tight Ends to Stream for Week 15
Mike Gesicki (vs. Baltimore Ravens): ESPN- 4%
Honorable Mention: Colby Parkinson (vs. Detroit Lions): ESPN- 10%
Without Tee Higgins again for the Bengals, Mike Gesicki could be a target monster after his massive game against the Bills last week, and he gets the Ravens this week. Even though Higgins was out in their first matchup as well, that was Gesicki’s second game back from injury, and Joe Burrow had a lot of passing attempts, but overall, he wasn’t efficient, but did just enough to win the game and keep it out of reach. This game might play out differently, as the Bengals may deploy Gesicki like they did last week.
For the Rams, Colby Parkinson has gotten there with touchdowns the past few weeks, so hopefully, that continues against a Lions defense that is battered and injured in a potential shootout with the highest total of the season. He’s in line for at least 4-5 targets a game and a touchdown at the very least.
Quarterbacks to Stream for Week 15
Marcus Mariota (@ New York Giants): ESPN- 18%
Honorable Mention: Tyler Shough (vs. Carolina Panthers): ESPN- 6.9%
With Jayden Daniels out, and likely for the rest of the season unless he plays maybe one more game, Marcus Mariota is a solid floor streamer that can get 15+ fantasy points pretty consistently with his mobility for the Commanders vs. the Giants this week, which is a good matchup.
Tyler Shough for the Saints might have a decent fantasy floor if they use him like a rusher, like last week, as he has some solid ceiling as well if he limits the turnovers. Against the Panthers, it’s not a bad matchup, but he does have some favorable games incoming to end his rookie season.
Defenses to Stream for Week 15
Carolina Panthers (@ New Orleans Saints): ESPN- 7.6%
New Orleans Saints (vs. Carolina Panthers): ESPN- 9.2%
Funny enough, both teams play each other and are low-owned defenses. However, it is for good reason, but we don’t know what we are getting from both these offenses. Both young quarterbacks have been turnover-prone in the past, but I would lean towards the Panthers at least for this week, but for the rest of the season, the Saints have the more favorable schedule.
