The DFS Must Starts: Bijan leads Week 18 builds with plenty of value plays

The DFS Must Starts Week 18

The final week of the NFL regular season is finally here, which means it is my final The DFS Must Starts for the DraftKings Main Slate.

The last few weeks have been a little frustrating as per usual it’s getting the right players together in a lineup for a big score.

My Top 10 in each of my player sections have been providing the right players that could brought home a nice payday with 197.34 points, but lineup building is the final key when it comes to hand building.

Oh well, enough of last week, let’s get into the Week 18 plays!

QB DFS Must Starts

Jaxson Dart, NY Giants ($5,700, 11 percent rostered)

Dart is the first QB I’m starting for my Main Slate lineups, and he will be my play if you are playing a lineup in the early games.

He comes into the game facing a Dallas defense that has allowed the most DK points to QBs this season at 24.8 points a game. Dart has scored 20-plus DK points in four of his last six starts.

Plus, the Cowboys are also the worst defense against WRs, allowing us to start a cheap build with Dart’s WRs.

Chalky Play: Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville ($6,400, 13.3 percent rostered)

Value Play: Tyler Shough, New Orleans ($5,300, 6 percent)

RB DFS Must Starts

Bijan Robinson, Atlanta ($8,700, 32.2 percent rostered)

With so many value pieces this weekend, starting your RB build with Bijan is a smart play.

Robinson has scored 29.8 points or more in five of the last seven weeks for the Falcons and has averaged 28.9 DK points in his last three home games.

The Saints have been a middle of the road defense against RBs this season, allowing 22.3 DK points a game.

Chalky Play: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit ($8,000, 25.3 percent rostered)

Value Play: Jaydon Blue, Dallas ($4,300, 8.6 percent rostered)

WR DFS Must Starts

Darius Slayton, NY Giants ($4,100, 24.7 percent rostered)
Isaiah Hodgins, NY Giants ($3,100, 15.6 percent rostered)

Here is where the value starts to kick in and I’m going play both Giants WRs with Dart in my main lineup.

The duo gets the benefit of being Dart’s primary targets as WR Wan’Dale Robinson and TE Theo Johnson are both missing the Dallas game.

And like I mentioned earlier, the Cowboys have been awful vs. WRs this season. They have allowed 40.9 DK points to WRs this year.

Even though neither Slayton or Hodgins have provided ceiling games this season, their prices only need to score 12.3 or more points to hit 3 times their value. So anything more than 12.3 points from either one is just bonus points.

Chalky Play: Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati ($8,500, 18.7 percent rostered)

Value Play: Kevin Austin Jr., New Orleans ($3,400, 9.8 percent rostered)

TE DFS Must Starts

Michael Mayer, Las Vegas ($3,500, 15.4 percent rostered)

I’m going to right back to Mayer after he was my Value Play last week where he scored 17.9 points for the Raiders on 9 catches for 89 yards.

Kansas City has been solid against TE this season, only giving up 11.8 DK points a game, but this team is a shell of itself since missing the playoffs.

The Chiefs have lost to Tennessee and Denver in its last two games.

Chalky Play: Trey McBride, Arizona ($7,500, 11.6 percent rostered)

Value Play: Juwan Johnson, New Orleans ($4,200, 12.3 percent rostered)

DST DFS Must Starts

Denver ($3,800, 11.5 percent rostered) home against LA Chargers

Minnesota ($3,000, 3.9 percent rostered) home against Green Bay
