There’s an old saying in football: if you have two quarterbacks, you don’t have one. Well, the Giants have three quarterbacks, a certified number one receiver in Malik Nabers, and two young running backs. There is just one small… Issue. The offensive line.
They are ranked 28th in PFF’s preseason offensive line rankings, which is horrendous. Andrew Thomas is the lone bright spot within the Giants’ offensive line. Other than that, they may have the worst offensive line in the NFL. Evan Neal and company are a slew of bad draft picks that Joe Schoen has made in his time as GM along the o-line. That could tank this team’s offensive value and talent in the 2025 season.
When reading the rest of this article, keep the frame of mind that their offensive line is a problem, and can tank some of these players’ values.
New York Giants – QBs
Aside from the Cleveland Browns, the New York Giants are the only team that can give the Browns a run for their money for the title of “Most Interesting QB Room in the NFL”. The Giants have a slew of new players at the position in 2025. They signed Russell Wilson to a contract this past season, along with possibly the most exciting QB in the NFL, Jameis Winston. They drafted a First-Round QB in Jaxson Dart.
This comes after a season where they cut their last first-round QB, Daniel Jones. They also ran out Tommy Devito, Tim Boyle, and Drew Lock.
Let’s start with probably their day one starter, Russell Wilson. Wilson was with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Taking them to a 10-7 season and a first-round playoff loss. He posted solid stats and was a viable streamer off the waiver wire week-to-week last season.
This season, he will have a bona fide #1 in Malik Nabers, that is, if he keeps the starting spot… Wilson’s upside is that of a high-end QB2. His rushing upside has diminished since he left Seattle a few seasons ago. His age has shown in recent seasons, but he’s still a guy you can draft. I would not draft him in a regular 12-team draft but would consider grabbing him in a 16-team format.
Jameis Winston is the Emergency starter; it feels like coming out of camp. Jameis is the most exciting of the quarterback options when it comes to Malik Nabers’ potential. He made Cedric Tillman and Jerry Jeudy viable options in a rather disappointing Cleveland Browns offense. Of course, there are issues with Winston’s game. He’s heavy-handed when it comes to interceptions. He may be a candidate to not dress early in the season, but could also be Jaxson Dart.
Jaxson Dart was drafted in the first round by the Giants this past season. It remains a mystery whether or not he will be a factor this season. The Giants may take this year to have him learn under the two veterans. The reason why I highly doubt this to be the case would be because of the GM Joe Schone and Head Coach Brian Dabol’s jobs may be on the line. This has not been a successful tenure for the two. After an early playoff season, it had been treacherous for the two.
Dart flashed in his first preseason game. This could be exciting for owners who own him in dynasty, but his redraft value is virtually free (ADP 221). Conventional wisdom in the NFL would have Dart not dress for the first few weeks, and the two veterans battle it out for the starting gig, but with the GM and coach on the hot seat, they may put him in early if the veterans struggle. The NFL has been more and more willing to put rookie QBs in early in the year.
The hope for this season would be that Nabers and Dart develop a rapport for years to come. Keep tabs on this situation early in the year, but for right now. Do not use any of your late picks on these guys in redraft.
Giants QB Rankings:
- Russell Wilson (Streamable if starter)
- Jaxson Dart (Exciting upside, but no promise is given at the moment)
- Jameis Winston (Becomes streamable if given a starting opportunity)
None are worth drafting in a 12-team Redraft format.
New York Giants – WRs
The New York Giants have two viable wide receiver options. One very exciting player in Malik Nabers, and the other is a sneaky late-round option in Wan’Dale Robinson. Malik Nabers set the record for rookie receptions last season in the 4 o’clock window. Right after, Raiders Rookie tight end Brock Bowers did it in the 1 o’clock slate. He is a top-5 talent in the NFL at the position. He is right behind guys like Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and CeeDee Lamb.
Malik Nabers is very excited about any of the quarterbacks considering all three of his options this season are better than his three options last season. He did so much in just one year with poor options behind him. He is currently being drafted in the 8th overall by ADP. He has immense upside, and I would definitely pick him in the first.
In my rankings, he is the 6th overall player in PPR formats. He had 170 targets last season, which is only 5 off the lead (Ja’Marr Chase). If Nabers comes anywhere close to that, he will be a top 5 wide receiver and possibly even higher.
The Giants have other guys like Jalin Hyatt, who’s a speed threat, but has not proved to be a successful wide receiver thus far in his career. Lil’Jordan Humphrey has also been disappointing thus far, and I expect that to continue.
Wan’Dale Robinson is a pass catcher I am excited about late in drafts this season. He totaled another heavy target number a lot due to late-game, garbage-time drives, but he was featured in this offense heavily. I think Robinson can be a steal at his current ADP (177).
Snagging a player that was top-15 the previous season in targets this late in drafts would normally be something that gets pushed up draft boards, but he is sitting there for you to take at any time as a 5th or 6th wide receiver. I took him late in the Blitz Creator league and could not be more excited about it.
Darius Slayton is another wide receiver that the Giants have who showed promise in 2024. He flashed in weeks where Nabers missed, but other than that, he has had a lackluster career to this point. I am not trusting the seventh-year man to continue production that was sparse in 2024.
Giants WR Rankings:
- Malik Nabers (Confidently draft Top-10
- Wan’Dale Robinson (Confidently draft above ADP (177)
- Darius Slayton (Streamer if injuries to Nabers or Robinson
- Jaylin Hyatt (No Fantasy Value)
- Lil’Jordan Humphrey (No Fantasy Value)
New York Giants – RBs
Tyrone Tracy Jr. had a breakout year in his rookie season after veteran Devin Singletary got hurt early in the year in 2024. The converted wide receiver totaled 6 touchdowns and over 1000 yards last year. His current ADP of 77 is during the RB dead zone. I have no interest in grabbing him at ADP due to the lack of security in his role. I like grabbing him after ADP, but it’s a rarity that he falls that far. I would avoid him at ADP, but if he falls. Grab him.
Devin Singletary is a cut-candidate early in the season. The Giants gave him the starting nod last season, but lost it due to injury and sparks from Tyrone Tracy Jr. He has very limited upside, and I would avoid him at all costs. I think his backup is primed to take his role.
Cam Skattebo is currently 3rd in the depth chart for the Giants. He was drafted out of Arizona State and showcased his diverse skillset against Texas in the College Football Playoff. Skatteboo can run, catch, pass, and more. He is very diverse, but my worry is that he is just a college running back. That is the same reason that he was drafted later than his college production.
I am excited about him as a prospect, but the fantasy community is as well. His ADP is currently at 98, and that is almost 20 spots higher than a month ago. I am avoiding him there at all costs. My hope is that he gets limited opportunities early in the year and I can buy low on him. Avoid him at ADP at all costs, but keep tabs on his early production. He could be a league winner late in the year.
Giants RB Rankings:
- Tyrone Tracy Jr. (Avoid at ADP)
- Cam Skatteboo (Avoid at ADP)
- Devin Singletary (Avoid at all Costs)
New York Giants – TEs
I’m going to save some time and brain power with the Giants’ TE room. Theo Johnson and Daniel Bellinger, I have zero excitement for. I have no interest in this room whatsoever. The Quarterbacks will be throwing to the WRs and limited opportunities to the tight ends. Avoid both at ADP. In very Deep leagues, you could take a shot on Theo Johnson, but other than that, AVOID in a 12-team or below.
Giants TE Rankings:
- Theo Johnson (Avoid unless deep league)
- Daniel Bellinger (No Fantasy Value)
