Each week of the NFL season is a game within a game when it comes to Stats to Know for fantasy and betting purposes.
Here is my breakdown of some Stats to Know in the final 15 games of Week 2.
Let’s get into it!
Stats to Know
Jacksonville at Cincinnati (Bengals -3, 48.5 total)
Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase loves seeing the teal of the Jacksonville uniforms. In two career games, he’s averaged 8.5 catches for 113 yards and 0.5 touchdowns vs. the Jaguars.
Buffalo at NY Jets (Bills -6.5, 46.5)
In their last 10 matchups, the Jets have only beat the Bills twice, and both wins came at home. The Bills have won the last three games by an average of 31.7-13.3.
New England at Miami (Dolphins -2, 43.5)
The Dolphins are have won 8 of 9 matchups between these two AFC East Division rivals, and the Patriots haven’t won in Miami since 2019, a 43-0 victory led by Tom Brady.
LA Rams at Tennessee (Rams -5.5, 41.5)
Puka Nacua has seen 8 or more targets in his last 12 games, and Nacua has averaged 92.4 yards a game during that stretch. The Rams have gone 8-4 during that run of games.
Cleveland at Baltimore (Ravens -11.5, 44.5)
This series is not as one-sided as one would expect. The Browns have split with the Ravens during the last four seasons, but the Browns have only won twice in their last 10 visits to Baltimore.
San Francisco at New Orleans (49ers -3, 40.5)
The beat-up 49ers are still a 3-point favorite on the road in New Orleans. The last time these two met in 2022, San Francisco won an ugly 13-0 game at home.
NY Giants at Dallas (Cowboys -4.5, 44.5)
Despite seeing each other twice a season, this is one of the most lopsided rivalries in recent history. The Cowboys are 15-1 against the Giants in their last 16 matchups.
Seattle at Pittsburgh (Steelers -3, 39.5)
The last time these two met was on New Year’s Eve in 2023, and the Steelers amassed 468 yards of total offense vs. the Seahawks. It was their second highest total in the last five years.
Chicago at Detroit (Lions -6, 46.5)
D.J. Moore probably wishes the Bears would play Detroit every week. Since joining Chicago, Moore has averaged 7 receptions, 82.3 yards and 0.75 touchdowns in four games vs. the Lions.
Denver at Indianapolis (Broncos -1.5, 42.5)
I would not expect too many points in this game with the both teams’ defense dialed in early in the season. The Broncos and the Colts have combined to average 37 points a game in their last five matchups.
Carolina at Arizona (Cardinals -6.5, 44.5)
The last time the Cardinals started the season 2-0 was in 2021. They rattled off a 7-0 start, but struggled in the second half of the season finish with an 11-6 record.
Philadelphia at Kansas City (Eagles -1.5, 46.5)
This is a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl, where the Eagles dominated the Chiefs. But there has only be one blowout in their last 10 regular season matchups, a Philadelphia 34-14 win in 2009.
Atlanta at Minnesota (Vikings -3.5, 44.5)
We could see plenty of offensive fireworks in this game. The Falcons and the Vikings have averaged 61.7 points a game in their last three matchups.
Tampa Bay at Houston (Texans -2.5, 42.5)
The last time Tampa Bay and Houston met the Texans rallied for a 39-37 victory in Houston as C.J. Stroud hit Tank Dell with the game-winning TD with 6 seconds left in the game.
LA Chargers at Las Vegas (Chargers -3, 46.5)
LA Chargers‘ Quinton Johnston had a breakout game the last time the Chargers and the Raiders met. He had 13 catches for 186 yards in the Week 18 showdown. He had two touchdowns in the season-opening win vs. Kansas City.
