We are in the final big week of draft season and I have 7 players that are my must-haves for this season.
These 7 are also part of the group of teams I want players on my roster and they are from the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Chargers.
And some of these of these guys are repeat offenders in some of my earlier stories during the preseason, but I still can’t get enough of them.
And the thing with their rankings it makes it nearly impossible to build a team from this complete list. So if you can draft 3 to 4 players from my list, then it’s a start toward a successful fantasy football playoff run.
Let’s dive into my must-haves!
The Magnificent 7
Chase Brown, Cincinnati (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 16, RB6)
I don’t know what more I can say about Chase Brown.
He’s playing on an explosive offense, and he caught 69 passes last year.
Brown may be a slow starter but he scored 15 or more fantasy points in his last 10 games last season.
And now the Bengals are favored in 15 of their 17 games in preseason odds.
Stack those Bengals!
Chris Olave, New Orleans (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 17, WR10)
I haven’t talked too much about Chris Olave this preseason but he is the main cog you want in the Saints’ offense.
I do love me some quarterback Tyler Shough, and Olave is the main benefactor of the Shough effect.
Olave averaged 9.4 targets a game when Shough started or played the majority of the snaps. And first-round pick WR Jordyn Tyson is expected to miss the beginning of the season.
Time for Olave to eat!
Ladd McConkey, L.A. Chargers (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 32, WR17)
My only concern with Ladd McConkey is the spreading of the offense for the Chargers.
New offensive coordinator Mike McDaniels has a plethora of talent in LA this season.
Omarion Hampton leads the backfield, while McConkey is the pseudo No. 1 among the WRs.
But I believed McConkey can be a WR1 with the rest offense cooking as well.
AFC West will need plenty of points scored to win the division title.

Colston Loveland, Chicago (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 35, TE3)
Now personally, I have missed out on Loveland in my completed home league drafts as my draft spots were not conducive to acquiring Colston Loveland on my rosters.
But I have a few more drafts to nab the Bears TE.
The lowdown on Loveland was his late season connection quarterback Caleb Williams. Loveland averaged 19.95 fantasy points a game in the last two regular season games and the Bears’ two playoff games.
Upside potential should only be better in the second year of the Ben Johnson offense.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 44, QB4)
Joe Burrow, Caleb Williams or Justin Herbert are all fine plays as your starting QB but the opportunity to draft Burrow is endless.
He currently goes off most draft boards as the No. 2-5 quarterback drafted behind No. 1 Buffalo’s Josh Allen.
Burrow averaged 20.6 points a game in the final six games of the season after returning from a turf toe injury. And that 20.6 also includes a stinker of the game against Baltimore (24-0 loss and only 7.5 fantasy points.)
And if Joe Cool can stay healthy for the entire season, the Bengals offense should be one of the league’s elite.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 62, WR30)
Parker Washington is another player I haven’t talked much about or even had the chance to draft yet.
But his late season surge has many a pundit ready for a big season.
Washington became QB Trevor Lawrence’s go-to guy in the Jaguars’ final four games.
Washington averaged 10.3 targets, 6.5 receptions for 113.5 yards a game. He also scored three times during that stretch.
And even if Brian Thomas Jr. returns to his rookie form, it means teams won’t be able to provide extra coverage to Washington.
Wan’Dale Robinson, Tennessee (FantasyPros Experts rankings No. 82, WR37)
Wan’Dale Robinson will be look upon to give young QB Cam Ward an elite outlet in the passing game this season.
And Robinson can handle the workload as he was a target monster his last two seasons with New York Giants. He had 140 targets in each of the last two seasons.
Robinson will have a familiar face calling the plays in Nashville. Former Giants coach Brian Daboll is the new offensive coordinator for the Titans.
Robinson familiarity to the offense should allow him to approach 140 targets again with his new team.
