Week 6 Defensive Streamers: Colts primed to face Titans’ disappointing offense

Week 6 Defensive Streamers

It’s becoming harder as each week passes for picking playable Defensive Streamers.

My three plays were basically duds for the week. All three or my recommended defenses gave up 24 or more points, and the Cincinnati Bengals were the only one with significant sacks (three) and forced turnovers (three).

This week gets a little tougher as four teams are byes, including the Miami Dolphins who I’ve been focusing on in these plays.

Let’s get into the Week 6 plays!

Defensive Streamers

Indianapolis (home against Tennessee, 4 percent rostered on Sleeper)

The Tennessee Titans might be in the same boat of the Dolphins – stream the defense playing against the awful offense.

The Titans are a really bad offense.

They only averaged 246.4 yards a game on offense, ranking them last among the 32 NFL teams by more than 15 yards worse than the next offense. Philadelphia is 31st with 262.2 totals yards offense this season.

Now the Indianapolis Colts are have not be the best stop unit this season. The Colts have giving up 384.2 yards a game, but they have been a much better defense at home.

Indianapolis is only giving up 364.5 yards a game, but they don’t give you much in the way of sacks and turnovers, the two biggest items I look for a defense.

The Titans have seem to fix the porous pass blocking after giving up 56 sacks in 2025.

The Colts are a 7-point favorite.

Kansas City (home against Los Angeles Chargers, 18 percent rostered on Sleeper)

The Kansas City Chiefs look to not suffer the same fate as the Dallas Cowboys – lose at home against a winless them.

The Chargers are one of three teams without a win season, while the Chiefs are one of three teams who are still undefeated.

The Chiefs bring their No. 12 defense into the game, but they become a defensive monster at home.

Kansas City has given 317.8 yards a game this season, but they become a top 5 defensive team in the friendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs only give up 252.5 yards of game in their two home games.

And Kansas City has only recorded four sacks this season, all in the first game at Arrowhead.

But the Chargers enter the game, giving up the second most sacks a game this season at 3.4.

The Chiefs may get plenty of opportunities against the injury-depleted offense.

Kansas City is an 8.5-point favorite.

Atlanta (home against Chicago, 7 percent rostered on Sleeper)

It amazes me how well the Atlanta defense has played so far this season.

They are down edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, who suffered a concussion and injured his neck in the Falcons’ win in New Orleans.

And the team’s other edge rusher James Pearce Jr., who is serving an 8-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The Falcons has recorded all 11 sacks without Pearce Jr., while they had four sacks in Smith’s absence last week.

Now they face the Bears team who still may be without regular starting QB Caleb Williams.

Williams return to practice last Friday, but still couldn’t suit in Chicago’s loss in Green Bay.

If Williams can’t return, it will be the battle of the best as the Bears have league’s top rushing offense (173.2 yards) and the Falcons have the fourth-best run defense (80.2 yards.

The Bears are a 3-point favorite.
