It’s nice coming into the Week 7 DFS Plays with several options to use.
I finally put together a couple of winning lines last week but still on the losing side overall, but this slate could have several ways to bring home a nice payday.
New York Giants at Houston, San Francisco at Atlanta, Los Angeles Rams at Las Vegas and Green Bay at Detroit matchups highlight the schedule of stackable games.
Let’s get into Week 7’s plays!
QB DFS Plays
C.J. Stroud, Houston ($5,700, 6.3 percent rostered)
Houston’s C.J. Stroud sits atop my quarterback rankings this week and for good reason.
The New York Giants are tied for the fourth most DraftKings points allowed to quarterbacks this season at 22.1. And he has plenty of options to stack with while the Giants side is just as juicy for a full on game stack.
Green Bay’s Jordan Love ($6,000, 7.5 percent) gets the honor of playing the Detroit Lions defense, which gives up 30.2 DK points to QB this season.
The Giants’ J.J. McCarthy ($4,800, 1 percent) continues to give us more possibilities of stacking their game with the Texans. Plus, McCarthy gives you some salary relief to build a deeper lineup.
My final QB play is Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford ($6,400, 3.6 percent), but playing him in more than one lineup will depend on Puka Nucua’s health ($8,400, 36.4 percent).
RB DFS Plays
Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay ($6,100, 12.8 percent rostered)
There are several great options with higher scoring opportunities, but they come with a price tag. And Bucky Irving gives some upside with a good price and less rostered numbers.
Plus, add in the Carolina Panthers give up the fifth most DK points to RB at 26.9 points.
Now, let’s get into the pricey, high rostered RBs.
Detroit’s Jahmyr Gibbs ($9,800, 34 percent) has had his price jacked up this week and it appears he’s still popular with their home against the Packers. The total in that contest is the highest of the week at 53.5 points.
Other pricey RBs my spreadsheet likes this week are the Rams’ Kyren Williams ($7,000, 27.1 percent) and San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey ($7,600, 22.6 percent).
And either one of the New York Jets’ backs are good play, but I would prefer a healthier Braelon Allen ($5,900, 0.3 percent) over Breece Hall ($5,900, 8.4 percent).
WR DFS Plays
Malik Nabers, NY Giants ($6,800, 15.6 percent rostered)
It so hard to ignore the Giants’ top receiving options in Nabers and Isaiah Likely.
So why not just play both of them. Nabers has averaged 17.5 targets into the Giants last two games and he sits atop of my WR rankings this week. Plus, Houston has given up 41.8 DK points to WRs this season.
Matthew Golden ($6,000, 17.2 percent) is the first Green Bay WR I’m clicking this week, but Christian Watson ($7,000, 18.6 percent) is a nice option too.
Nico Collins ($7,200, 12.6 percent) and Jaylin Noel ($3,900, 0.6 percent) gives you two solid stacking options for Stroud.
And we finally have several playable sub-$3K options this week led by Atlanta’s Jahan Dotson ($3,700, 0.6 percent) and San Francisco’s Christian Kirk ($3,600, 1.1 percent).
TE DFS Plays
Isaiah Likely, NY Giants ($5,300, 1.5 percent rostered)
Likely is my No. 2 TE on my spreadsheet this week, and just like Nabers has averaged double-digit targets recently (12 targets a game over the last three).
Houston is one of the better teams vs. TEs this season, but Likely has seen at least 5 targets in each game this season.
Carolina’s Tommy Tremble ($2,900, 0.5 percent) gives some salary relief with decent upside as the Buccaneers give up 15.7 DK points to TEs this season.
Green Bay’s Tucker Kraft gets to face the porous Detroit secondary vs. TEs. The Lions have given up 32.1 DK points this season to the tight end position.
DST DFS Plays
Minnesota ($3,500, 4.3 percent rostered) home against Indianapolis
San Francisco ($3,200, 2.8 percent rostered) at Atlanta
NY Jets ($2,900, 6.9 percent rostered) home against Miami
