Last week was one of those weeks where I’m questioning myself with it comes to my DFS spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet continues to spit out correct plays, and it comes down to my ability to put together the right combinations. I’m not a 150-max entry players – I hand build 10 lineups a week that are based off of my spreadsheet.
There is no optimizer, building lineups at will. And I prefer it that way and I accept the lows of the DFS season. So let’s make Week 6 a high for the 2026 season.
Let’s get into the DFS Plays!
QB DFS Plays
Bryce Young, Carolina ($5,700, 5.2 percent rostered)
The majority of players will be gravitating toward Buffalo’s Josh Allen ($7,500, 21.2 percent) and Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford ($6,400, 9.5 percent) and I don’t blame them.
They are part of my Top 3 QB plays this week, but I’m going with Bryce Young because he is the least rostered of the three.
Plus, he has some nice correlations with the rest of my spreadsheet that I will get into later in this story.
Young faces an Eagles’ secondary that has not been itself this season. Philadelphia has allowed 20.5 DraftKings points to quarterbacks in 2026.
Other plays: Caleb Williams, Chicago ($6,200, 3.6 percent); and Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas ($5,400, 7.8 percent).
RB DFS Plays
Cam Skattebo, New York Giants ($5,800, 2.1 percent rostered)
Again I’m going with the least rostered approach for one my running backs, as well.
Cam Skattebo may appear to be a bad play, but it’s more about how bad the New Orleans Saints defense is against the run.
The Saints give up 33.5 DK points to running backs this season, which is 4 points clear of the Bills, who give up 29.5 DK points.
But there are so many great plays in the RB group this week. The Rams’ Kyren Williams ($6,800, 80.3 percent, I think his number will be high but not this high) and Kansas City’s Kenneth Walker III ($8,500, 28.8 percent) are at the top of the group with the highest rostered numbers.
Other plays: Bijan Robinson, Atlanta ($8,700, 19.4 percent), James Cook III, Buffalo ($7,400, 7.7 percent), Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh ($7,000, 3 percent); D’Andre Swift, Chicago ($6,700, 2.8 percent); and Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas ($6,500, 2.9 percent).
WR DFS Plays
Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina ($7,300, 3.8 percent rostered)
There are so many good WRs that we can actually double stack with our QBs this week, and I’ll start with the Panthers’ Tetairoa McMillan.
He’s coming a career-game of 14 catches for 192 yards and 2 TDs in Carolina’s win over Detroit before its bye.
Now McMillan faces a Philadelphia defense that is giving up a Top 5 39.8 DK points to WRs this season.
You can combine McMillan with Jalen Coker ($5,900, 8.5 percent) for the double with Young, or you can hit up Puka Nacua ($8,100, 41.1 percent) and Davante Adams ($6,600, 18.4 percent) for a chalky Rams’ double stack with Stafford.
Other plays: Zay Flowers, Baltimore ($7,100, 10.6 percent); Drake London, Atlanta ($7,000, 27.3 percent); Garrett Wilson, NY Jets ($6,800, 5.5 percent); Malik Nabers, NY Giants ($6,500, 6.1 percent); and Wan’Dale Robinson, Tennessee ($4,500, 8.4 percent).
TE DFS Plays
Tyler Higbee, LA Rams ($3,400, 11.9 percent rostered)
Here is where I think you get different of getting a Rams players into your lineup.
Tyler Higbee faces an Arizona defense that has allowed 19.5 DK points to tight ends this season, but your only concern is a vultured TD by one of the Rams other TEs.
Las Vegas’ Brock Bowers ($7,500, 10.8 rostered) is basically WR at the TE position, but the Bills have played well against true TEs this season. NY Giants’ Isaiah Likely ($4,800, 7.7 percent) and Philadelphia’s Dallas Goedert ($3,900, 7.5 percent) are two other TEs I will be focused in on this week.
DST DFS Plays
Kansas City ($3,600, 5.4 percent) home against LA Chargers
Pittsburgh ($3,300, 4 percent) at Tampa Bay
NY Giants ($2,800, 5.5 percent) home against New Orleans
