You can find your dose of NFL power rankings from anywhere these days. There are always fun debates to be had, but this time of year, it is hard to rank teams with any confidence. We haven’t even had the draft yet. At this exact time last year, this “power ranking” list would have included the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, and Baltimore Ravens at the top. The New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, and the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks were all middle of the pack.
Trying to rank teams on paper in April is completely stupid. Now, ranking them on vibes, now that is fun. Let’s throw out the fact that your team’s head coach hasn’t won a big game ever. How does he dress? Does he talk like a G? Is the WR room a collection of 2nd round picks and free agent throwaways? Fine. But how many felonies do they have? Ever think of that? So, let’s get to it. Here’s part 2 of my 2026 NFL vibes-only power ranks. You can read Part 1 here.
16. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are perfectly placed in the 16th spot. Klint Kubiak was the sexiest of coordinators available for a head coaching job this offseason, and the Raiders brass was able to land him. That’s a plus in the vibes category. He comes into a situation with offensive stars Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers. Vibes are vibing. The team traded and then didn’t trade Maxx Crosby.
They own the first pick in the upcoming NFL draft, where they are expected to take star QB Fernando Mendoza. Mendoza doesn’t scream vibes, and that probably won’t get any better under the tutelage of Kirk Cousins. Kohl’s department stores in Vegas don’t know what’s coming. These two nerds in Vegas could be a reality show in itself. Throw in the presence of Tom Brady, and it keeps the Raiders from moving too far up this list. Vibe-O-Meter: 6.2
15. San Francisco 49ers
As long as Kyle Shanahan is the head coach of the 49ers, the vibes will be high. They seemed to rid themselves of problem WRs Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings and replaced them with first-ballot Hall of Famer Mike Evans and steady veteran Christian Kirk. The team’s “other Christian”, Christian McCaffrey, is coming off a season where he played all 17 games.
Acquiring Osa Odighizuwa in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, along with the return of a healthy Nick Bosa, provides a significant lift to a defense that ranked 19th in 2025—its lowest finish since a league-worst showing in 2016. Vibes are high in the hometown of Jesse and the Rippers. Vibe-O-Meter: 6.6
14. Seattle Seahawks
I am the one who made this list, and yet, I’m feeling like this might be high for the reigning Super Bowl champs. They lost Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. An even bigger blow might be losing offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak to the aforementioned Las Vegas Raiders. Is Sam Darnold good? I’m not even sure Sam Darnold knows the answer to that question.
With only 4 picks in the upcoming NFL draft, it will be tough to provide the depth needed to give another Super Bowl run. I’m predicting the Seattle Seahawks will fall short of the playoffs, but I couldn’t justify putting the champs below this. Vibe-O-Meter: 6.7
13. Green Bay Packers
It could be argued that the Green Bay Packers lost more than they gained this offseason, and no one would blink an eye. They are left with more needs than they had at the end of the season, and they don’t have a 1st-round pick due to the Micah Parsons trade. The rest of the NFC North got better and are all ranked higher here.
A full year with Parsons and a leap from Jordan Love can make all the difference, but I don’t love their chances in a tough division. If we want to play the cheese card, they are the slices of government cheese my mom used for my sandwiches, surrounded by artisan cheeses. Vibe-O-Meter: 6.8
12. Detroit Lions
We stay in the NFC North with the next team on the list. Listen, Dan Campbell eats vibes for breakfast and shits out more vibes after he’s done digesting those. But did the lust fall off just a little in 2025? They lost offensive coordinatorBen Johnson last year when he became the head coach of the Chicago Bears, and the offense looked like a shell of itself.
They go for it on 4th down, run up the score on teams, and have some of the best fantasy contributors in the league. I’m not sure that will get them back in the playoffs in 2026. Vibe-O-Meter: 7.2
11. Denver Broncos
If you were aware of my real opinions on Bo Nix and Sean Payton, the Broncos’ spot on this list would be surprising—Nix has yet to prove he’s more than a mediocre quarterback, and Payton remains one of the most universally unlikable figures in the league. Yet, the addition of star WR Jaylen Waddle to a team that was only a Bo Nix broken ankle away from a Super Bowl berth last year adds some good vibes.
Running back J.K. Dobbins’ return could be a major boost to the running game, provided he remains healthy. The city of Denver is truly the ultimate hub of good vibes. As a Bills fan, this team frightens me. Vibe-O-Meter: 7.5
10. Houston Texans
The Houston Texans have a cocky and dominant defense. C.J. Stroud is so delusional with his vibes that he believes he’s a top-5 QB in the league. Tank Dell is hopefully coming back from his latest injury, and his first name alone adds one full point to their score. My belief that he will return to his old form and find his chemistry with Stroud bumps them up even more.
DeMeco Ryans is extremely likable and has kept this team competitive in a lackluster division. I’m not ready to call Stroud dead, but this is a year he absolutely needs to take a big step forward. I’m banking on it. VIbe-O-Meter: 7.6
9. Dallas Cowboys
Maybe it is surprising to see the Dallas Cowboys up this high on the list. They found a way to keep Javonte Williams and George Pickens, two of their biggest offensive stars. They didn’t make any major waves, but they secured important signings like safety Jalen Thompson and cornerback Cobie Durant.
Call it a gut feeling, but I believe this is the year the Cowboys find themselves on top of the NFC East again. I stopped writing this to put some money on Dak Prescott for MVP. Vibe-O-Meter: 7.9
8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Have you ever seen the Baker Mayfield “Teach Me How to Dougie” video? Enough said. Baker sweats out vibes from his pores. Emeka Ebuka had fantasy players all over the country anointing him the next Jerry Rice after the first 8 games of the 2025 season. While he did come back down to earth, the vacancy left by Mike Evans should make Ebuka a target hog for Mayfield.
Head coach Todd Bowles lacks quite a bit in the personality department, and if the Bucs don’t make significant improvement this year, he may be on the hot seat next offseason. My prediction is that Baker finds his 2024 swag, free-agent RB Kenneth Gainwell adds more than expected, and the defense improves, leading to an NFC South title. Vibe-O-Meter: 8.1
7. Los Angeles Rams
We are getting down to the nitty-gritty, and any of these teams can probably be listed number 1. Coming off his first MVP season at age 37, the Los Angeles Rams’ QB Matt Stafford stands as one of the toughest players ever to grace the field. Sean McVay coaches like he’s playing your 12-year-old nephew in Madden.
The wide receiver room ranks among the league’s best, though Puka Nacua’s turbulent offseason and string of unfortunate events have put a damper on the overall vibes. With rumors swirling about a potential first-round wide receiver selection, such an addition would arguably make this offense the most formidable in the league. They currently sit as the Super Bowl favorites, and for good reason. Vibe-O-Meter: 8.5
6. Tennessee Titans
What? How can I put one of the worst teams in the league here on this list? Simple. I think the Titans had one of the best offseasons in the league. The pairing of new Head Coach Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll is a match made in heaven. While both have struggled as head coaches in this league, their organizations were much to blame in each situation.
Daboll is given a lot of credit for Josh Allen‘s ascent to greatness, and Saleh has traditionally led some of the league’s best defensive units, either as head coach or as defensive coordinator. Now Daboll gets a chance to work with last year’s 1st overall pick, QB Cam Ward, to see if we can recreate the voodoo he worked on with Allen. The Titans are also the favorite to land rookie RB sensation Jeremiyah Love, who is projected to be an absolute game-changer.
One of the most underrated free agency moves this offseason was the Titans’ acquisition of WR Wandale Robinson. Throw all this in with the fact that they play in the league’s weakest division, and a Cinderella season may be in store in Nashville. Vibe-O-Meter: 8.8
5. Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers are high on this list for the same reason as the Titans. A coaching match made in heaven. Mike McDaniel’s casual, ‘frat-bro’ charisma creates a compelling contrast when paired with Jim Harbaugh. Say what you want about him as a head coach, but hard to reject McDaniel as one of the best play-callers in the league. Justin Herbert will have his best chance at success this season. They have some work to do on the offensive line during the draft, but this team is my favorite pick to be the 2026 Super Bowl Champs. Vibe-O-Meter: 9.0
4. New York Giants
Listen. This is about vibes, people. And the New York Giants are full of them. Jaxon Dart showed flashes of stardom in his rookie year. Malik Nabers has already shown he belongs among the league’s best wide receivers, a feat made even more impressive by his injury setbacks and inconsistent quarterback play. Cam Skattebo is full of swag, even though he has only one ankle.
They landed the biggest shark in the head coach free agency class with John Harbaugh. They were active this offseason, and they will most certainly add another WR for Dart with the 5th overall pick. It might take one more year, but the vibes will be high in the Big Apple this year. Vibe-O-Meter: 9.2
3. Chicago Bears
This easily goes down as my favorite team in the NFL right now. Head coach Ben Johnson is a psycho play caller and made this offense one of the best in the league in 2025. Star QB Caleb Williams paints his fingernails and hangs out with the Jenner sisters at Coachella. VIBES. They got rid of aging WR D.J. Moore and his contract and miraculously added a 2nd round pick in the process in a trade with the Buffalo Bills.
Luther Burden and Colston Loveland looked like dominant NFL players as the season went on last year. Their defense will have to get better for them to contend for a championship, but it’s hard to argue that this isn’t the most fun team in the NFL right now. Vibe-O-Meter: 9.3
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
Duvaaaaaalllll. The initial jeers directed at rookie head coach Liam Coen rapidly transformed into a chant of team pride. From “jive” to “vibes”. Coen quickly turned the Jags into one of the best offenses in the league in 2025. Trevor Lawrence finally made the jump that Jaguars fans had been hoping for since he entered the league.
While the offseason has been quiet outside of losing RB Travis Etienne to the New Orleans Saints in free agency, vibes stay high in Jacksonville as they feel like a team on the cusp of annual playoff appearances. If the AI-generated image of Lawrence cutting his hair circulating online were real, there’s no way they would still be this high. But as long as the hair stays, so do the vibes. Vibe-O-Meter: 9.5
1. New Orleans Saints
I think the New Orleans Saints are the most slept-on team this year. The addition of Travis Etienne in this backfield is going to be electric. Whatever the price is that you need to pay to get him on your fantasy roster, it is too cheap. Kellen Moore is going to put him to work perfectly. Chris Olave is one of the game’s best WRs, and he should be joined by a top rookie prospect at the same position.
Tyler Shough showed he was for real, and I fully expect him to take a huge step in year 2. They beefed up their defense in the offseason and have the ability to run a top-5 offense. Things have been pretty lowly in New Orleans, but the vibes have never been higher. Vibe-O-Meter: 9.8
