Week 11 has some startable options, but you likely won’t have to start anyone off waivers this week with just two teams on bye, the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts. However, there are a few stashes that are worth adding. Due to injuries at quarterback and at running back, those positions will likely be the positions that could be stream-worthy this week.
With kickoff looming, it’s time to make those final roster tweaks. Whether you’re dealing with injuries, bye weeks, or just looking for upside, here are some last-minute waiver wire adds who could make a difference in Week 11.
Running Backs to Add for Week 11
Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@ Buffalo Bills): ESPN- 18%, Sleeper- 11%, Yahoo- 15%
Honorable Mention: Chris Rodriguez Jr., Washington Commanders (vs. Miami Dolphins in Berlin): ESPN- 4%, Sleeper- 19%, Yahoo- 6%
The Bills’ run defense has been abysmal this year, and with Bucky Irving out again, that leaves the way for Rachaad White. However, his efficiency on the ground has been terrible this year, and with Sean Tucker getting more usage, that could lead the way for both Bucs’ running backs to have a decent fantasy day.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt has taken a back seat the past month, as Chris Rodriguez has been the guy the Commanders have leaned on when he is healthy. If he plays in Berlin, Rodriguez could be a desperation flex start, even if the Dolphins’ run defense has gotten better over the past few weeks.
Wide Receivers to Add for Week 11
Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals (vs. San Francisco 49ers): ESPN- 7%, Sleeper- 5%, Yahoo- 13%
Honorable Mention: Calvin Austin III, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Cincinnati Bengals): ESPN- 17%, Yahoo- 13%, Sleeper- 6%
Marvin Harrison Jr. is out with appendicitis, so that leaves Michael Wilson as the wide receiver one in Arizona for Jacoby Brissett, along with the superstar tight end, Trey McBride. Wilson will likely see the second-most targets against a 49ers secondary that is exploitable, and if they are down early again like against the Seahawks, that could be a pass-heavy game script.
While the Steelers tight ends are always involved, Calvin Austin returned from injury, and while it hasn’t resulted in fantasy value, he has seen 6 and 7 targets back-to-back weeks from Aaron Rodgers. In a likely shootout against a soft Bengals defense, this should be a smash spot while D.K. Metcalf has disappointed and will likely be covered by D.J. Turner, who has been shut down this year.
Tight Ends to Stream for Week 11
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers): ESPN/ Sleeper/ Yahoo- 2%
Honorable Mention: Noah Fant, Cincinnati Bengals (@ Pittsburgh Steelers): ESPN- 3%, Sleeper- 8%, Yahoo- 3%
Dalton Kincaid will likely be out this week, leaving the way for Dawson Knox to get a starting role for the Bills in a likely high-scoring affair against Tampa. Noah Fant for the Bengals has seen an increased target share with Joe Flacco and will likely be involved at least 3-5 times and could have a chance to score against the Steelers in a high-scoring matchup, potentially.
Quarterbacks to Stream for Week 11
Davis Mills, Houston Texans (@ Tennessee Titans): ESPN- 2%, Sleeper- 5%, Yahoo- 3%
Honorable Mention: Jameis Winston, New York Giants (vs. Green Bay Packers): ESPN- 2%, Sleeper- 1%, Yahoo- 3%
Davis Mills was the lead scoring for fantasy quarterbacks last week against the Jaguars, as he faces the Titans in a potentially advantageous matchup with C.J. Stroud out. If you need a streamer, I wouldn’t be surprised if he repeated a similar type of performance for Houston.
With Jaxson Dart out with a concussion, it’s finally Jameis Winston time with Mike Kaftka as the interim head coach. Although the Green Bay Packers have a good defense, they are the ultimate play-down opponent, so this could be a surprisingly close or back-and-forth affair in MetLife, as usually teams with their head coaches fired do slightly better.
Defenses to Stream for Week 11
The Vikings‘ pass offense has struggled under J.J. McCarthy as of late, so the Bears could be a decent streamer, as the young quarterback could turn the ball over once or twice. Although Dallas has a poor defense, the Raiders, with Geno Smith, have been one of the worst offenses that also turn the ball over multiple times a game, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cowboys’ pass rush gets after Smith (if he plays) or Kenny Pickett.
Chicago Bears (@ Minnesota Vikings): ESPN/ Sleeper- 24%, Yahoo- 33%
Dallas Cowboys (@ Las Vegas Raiders): ESPN- 18%, Sleeper- 5%, Yahoo- 22%
