• Ja’Marr Chase is officially back. After a quiet Week 1 where he caught just two passes, the Bengals made it an absolute priority to feed their alpha receiver. Chase bounced back massively, hauling in two touchdowns. He is a locked-in elite WR1 moving forward.
• Joe Burrow looks locked in. Burrow distributed the ball cleanly, leaning heavily on Chase and Tee Higgins. This passing offense has completely shaken off its early rust.
• Stats from today: Burrow 20/31, 207 yards, 2 TDs. JaMar Chase: 7 rec, 75 yards, 2 TDs. Tee Higgins: 5 Rec, 95 yards.
• For the Texans, no Nico, huge problems. The Texans offense looked completely stagnant without Nick anchoring the passing game. Houston struggled mightily to sustain drives, failing to find the end zone and rendering their skill players frustrating to start.

• Packers win, but they are in trouble. Green Bay escaped with a gritty overtime win, but the offensive volume remains a serious concern. Jordan Love threw for under 150 yards, and the team was plagued by a sloppy, penalty-filled performance.
• Christian Watson and Matthew Golden stock up. Jayden Reed left the game with an injury after only commanding one target. In his absence, Watson stepped up as the top target, catching a crucial touchdown, while Golden saw a heavy uptick in looks with 6 targets. Both see a significant boost if Reed misses extended time.

• TreVeyon Henderson provides the missing juice. Making his highly anticipated season debut, Henderson gave the Patriots offense the explosive paymaker they desperately needed. He flashed his elite ceiling with an electric 39-yard touchdown run. He looks like the clear explosive back to roster here.
• Steelers’ offense has no juice. Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense looked completely smothered. Pittsburgh managed only 3 points all day, failing to generate big plays or push the ball into the red zone effectively.
• Jaylen Warren leads a sluggish backfield. Warren out-touched the Rico but found little room to move. Until this offensive line and passing game can keep defenses honest, everyone on this unit is a risky, low-ceiling flex play.

• The Falcons offense is in absolute shambles. Playing without both Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa, Atlanta started backup Cooper Rush again, and it was a total disaster. Rush turned the ball over twice before being benched for rookie Jack Strand.
• Bijan Robinson is severely capped. Robinson was completely keyed on by the defense, held to just 72 rushing yards while the team could only muster a single field goal. This offense needs Penis back immediately to save the fantasy value of its stars.
• Bryce Young is looking much better. Young put together a masterclass performance, throwing for nearly 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. He looked comfortable, decisive, and effectively moved the chains all afternoon.
• Darren Waller is a dominant TE today. Waller was the primary beneficiary of Young’s efficient day, shredding the Falcons defense for two touchdowns. If this resurgence is real, Waller vaults right back into a top-tier streaming tight end.

• The Titans didn’t look half bad. Despite the loss, Tennessee showed plenty of fight and offensive competency. They moved the ball surprisingly well against a tough defense, showing that their skill players shouldn’t be completely written off in deeper fantasy formats.
• Massive injuries, but Hurts comes up clutch. The Eagles suffered devastating blows, losing both Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley during the game. The offense visibly struggled to find its rhythm without its top playmakers, but Jalen Hurts put the team on his back.
• Devonta Smith is the undisputed alpha. With the depth chart depleted, Hurts locked onto Smith in the clutch. Smith is a locked-in elite target hog as long as the offense is short-handed.

• Lamar chokes on the game-winning drive. It was a heartbreaking finish for Baltimore. Lamar Jackson put together a strong fantasy day on the ground and through the air, but a critical mistake on the final drive sealed the loss. Zay Flowers was truly missed.
• Chris Olave is absolutely cooking. Olave was the focal point of the passing game, shredding the Ravens’ secondary and proving he is a high-end WR1 lock regardless of matchup.
• A sticky backfield to figure out. While the passing game is clear, the running split remains a frustrating headache for fantasy managers. Touches were fragmented, making it difficult to trust Travis Etienne and Alvin Kamara.

Final Score: Vikings 9, Bears 3

• Caleb’s injury issue is deeply concerning. Left the game with a hamstring injury that was non-contact related. Hoping it’s not long-term.
• Stock down for the Bears’ pass catchers. With Caleb’s short-term return in question, the entire aerial attack will take a big hit. The Bears already struggled today, with D’Andre Swift as the leading receiver. Burden finished with 3 catches for 32 in garbage time, Loveland with 3 targets, 1 reception for 3 yards, and Odunze with 3 catches for 43 yards.
• A gritty divisional victory. The Vikings relied heavily on their defense and ball-control offense to exploit the Bears in extreme weather conditions.

• Kirk Cousins completely showed out. Captain Kirk answered any lingering doubts with a stellar aerial display today. He commanded the offense with poise and found his rhythm early, making him a high-end streaming QB in certain matchups. Passed for 253 yards and threw 3 TDs.
• Hampton gets massive volume, but carries risk. Hampton enjoyed a solid day from a workload perspective, receiving 23 carries for 94 yards 4.1 YPC) and 1 rushing TD. However, a costly fumble left a blemish on an otherwise great fantasy volume day.
• Overall, this Chargers team isn’t what anyone expected coming into the season. Herbert throwing 2 INTs was concerning. Justin Herbert and his pass catchers looked entirely out of sync. Between tight coverage and a struggling offensive line, Herbert couldn’t find any momentum, severely capping the upside of everyone in this passing game.

Final Score: 49ers 35, Dolphins 13

• Brock Purdy is criminally slept on. Purdy orchestrated an absolute clinic today, proving once again that he is a highly efficient, top-tier fantasy QB option despite the lack of public hype. 287 passing yards with 2 passing TDs, and on the ground lead the team with 30 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.
• Christian McCaffrey: Less volume, peak efficiency. CMC fantasy managers shouldn’t worry about a slightly lower touch count today. The 49ers managed his reps in the blowout, but he maximized his opportunities with two end zone scores.
• Mike Evans did leave the game early with a hip injury, but it isn’t believed to be serious and is worth monitoring.
• The Dolphins were thoroughly outmatched from the opening kickoff, leading to a completely stalled offense and total fantasy wash for their skill players. Unfortunately, Devon Achane is no longer a top 10 RB in this horrific offense.

• Jaxon Smith-Njigba goes absolutely nuts. JSN put together a career-defining performance today: 9 catches, 155 yards, and 3 receiving TDs. Drew Lock will be able to hold it down and keep JSN in the WR1 conversation until Darnold is back.
• Jadarian Price and the Seahawks backfield split is still going to be a nuisance for fantasy owners, especially as he left early with an injury. From there, Emanuel Wilson accounted for 21 carries, 92 yards, and 4.4 YPC.
• Cardinals faced a defensive buzzsaw and looked completely overwhelmed. While the blowout loss is disappointing, fantasy managers should not continue to panic on Marvin Harrison Jr., as he has only received 1 target and has an absolute donut. But the rest of the pass catchers struggled as well, only accounting for 95 air yards.

Week 2 Biggest Takeaways: Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Final Score: Broncos 20, Jaguars 13

• Denver hits their bounce-back spot. After a rough opening week, the Broncos executed their game plan beautifully. The defense stepped up, making things miserable for Lawrence and setting up a comfortable script for Denver.
• Jaylen Waddle bounces back massively. Waddle was unstoppable this game. He weaponized his elite speed down the field, racking up 138 yards, which included an explosive, near 49-yard touchdown reception. He is an elite locked- in WR1.
• J.K. Dobbins left the game with an injury; fantasy managers need to monitor and aggressively target rookie back Jonah Coleman.
• Trevor Lawrence had some struggles. As expected against a ferocious Denver unit, Lawrence could never find his comfort zone. It was a rough fantasy output for the QB, but there was a massive silver lining in the target distribution. Parker Washington: 12 targets and Brian Thomas Jr.: 8 targets, being the clear 1-2 punch moving forward.
• Parker Washington had a 98-yard performance; he’s the Jags WR1 and one of the biggest steals of this year’s draft.

Week 2 Biggest Takeaways: Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders

Final Score: Cowboys 37, Commanders 20

• Jayden Daniels’ elbow injury returns. The biggest concern for Washington this season was keeping Daniels healthy. Daniels injured the same elbow once again, leading to Marcus Mariotta replacing him for the next game. No news yet at this time, but the Commanders’ entire offensive players take a major hit.
• An absolute offensive clinic for Dallas. They dominated from start to finish. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb were entirely locked in, effortlessly connecting for 2 scores.
• Jake Ferguson is a red-zone monster. Ferguson was Prescott’s favorite target inside the 20, matching Lamb’s production with 2 touchdowns of his own. Ferguson was a must-start I called out this week; if he continues this, he’s a locked-in elite TE1 once again.
